Haha. Nice one. Thank you. Was lovely seeing you too bro. I'll make sure your Fiesta is in the Motorist video when I get round to editing it. Cheers. 👍
Nice little upgrade that. Shame you couldn't of got them bolts in the other way. But hey it's on and looks good. Wishing you and your family a Happy New year from my clan. Look forward to the next episode. Cheers mate
Thanks Frank. It was a pity, but access to the upper part with a spanner was so difficult. Stiĺl, Tai's happy and that's the main thing. Hope your family has a good one too. Speak soon bro.
Thanks Paul. Glad you enjoyed it. No sweat about the question. Looking at the video, it is a bit tricky to tell, isn't it? I can't remember exactly! 🤣 Ironically, I'm doing some repairs on MY newly-acquired Mk7 Fiesta at the moment and I've been placing the axle stands under the chassis rails, just inside the sills. I would recommend using those. Cheers pal. 👍😎
Yo Jimmy. I'm enjoying the videos and that you really like your 2.8i. I only watched a few. As yours is a X reg and mine is a Y reg has it ever had new metal brake lines? I'd just fitted all new front brakes 6 months ago and I made up new ones. I've got a kit to cut, flare and bend pipe. I'd get 1 old pipe off and make a new one. Change 1 for 1. That's so can't get where it goes mixed up. So using the old pipes as a pattern. I was bleeding the fronts and I noticed fluid dripping off the axle. The long pipe had a pinhole in it. They did well for 39 years!!!!!
Yo Ken! Certainly, mine hasn't had new metal brake lines since I took ownership 3 years ago. Sounds like you had quite a jigsaw fitting yours. Very impressive!
Hi Liam. Thanks for your comments pal. Much appreciated. I don't know the link to the site it was bought from I'm afraid, as I didn't buy it. All I know is that it's a KMS rear splitter/diffuser. They might have a direct website possibly? The sideskirts were on the car already, factory-fitted for this model I believe (ST-Line 1.0 EcoBoost).
You're absolutely spot-on pal. I would have definitely preferred pop rivets. I just don't have a rivet gun! 🤣 Oh well. Tai was happy with the results, and that's the main thing. 👍
Hi I know you might not see this but want to get a rear diffuser for my car was wondering what model you’res is and if you know if that one would fit a 2009 mk 7 fiesta diesel?
Hi Jacob. No problem pal. It's my son-in-law's car. 1 litre petrol Ecoboost. I'd be quite surprised if it didn't fit yours. As you can see from the video, it was just a case of swapping the bits over. The moulding was the same shape. Just needed a little bit of fettling. 😁 If you're not sure, I would contact KMS directly. I'm sure they'd be able to confirm for sure. Keep me posted pal. 👍
Thank you for youre reply you seem very nice 👍🏻😊 I’ll give it a go just trying to modify mine at the moment got interior all sorted got new gear stick and steering wheel and mats and everything so starting to work on exterior now like rear diffuser and spoiler and stuff but such a struggle to find one is you’res a diesel?
@@jacobbridle539 As I said mate, I'll be surprised if the same bumper wouldn't fit on any Mk7. Give KMS a bell, as they should be able to confirm one way or the other.
Hi Dave. Sorry for the late reply. The sensors are in the bumper piece above the diffuser, so it doesn't affect them at all. Obviously, you'd just need to be careful to not trap any of the wiring whilst you fit it. Hope that helps pal. 👍
Haha no way I’d seen this vid. Lovely meeting ya today mate

Good video mate 👍. This is a noob question but when you jacked up the car what jack points did you use . Many thanks

Best way to remove rivets in simply just to drill them, the heads pop right off
Cheers Harry. Yeah, in hindsight, I should have done that. Oh well. Always learning. Still, I reckon the end-result wasn't too bad. Cheers.
Could you not have put the bolts in the other way round, or a better idea to use Pop rivets?????
You're absolutely spot-on pal. I would have definitely preferred pop rivets. I just don't have a rivet gun! 🤣 Oh well. Tai was happy with the results, and that's the main thing. 👍
whatisthe name of the difuser that already on the fiesta?
Hi Ismail. I'm guessing the one that was on there originally was one from Ford themselves.

How does it work with the sensors if you have them ?

Oke thanks man ford the reply !
What type of rim that you used ?, i like it
Hi Willie. The splitter is from KMS.
Glad you like it. It certainly looks good, especially with the KMS exhaust now fitted too.
Did you not need to fit rear Spats for the diffuser?
Hi Damo. No mate. It was all one fully-integrated piece. Dead easy to fit dude! 👌
@@jimmykneesall ok m8 cheers they look very smart I like the look of them
@@damo1989damo No sweat pal. With the new exhaust too, both bits really set the car off.
@@jimmykneesall ye I watched your exhaust vid aslo nice exhaust system m8
@@damo1989damo Cheers pal. Yeah, it's coming on alright. Tai's really pleased with it. We also fitted ST seats into it in another video.

Where did you get this diffuser mate ?
Hi Marc. It came from KMS Motorsports pal, same place as we got the exhaust kit that we filmed fitting as well.
