    This is when bands sounded spectacular, fantastic band, great seeing Roy Newsome at the helm of one of the best Black Dykes, M.D.d by Dave King.

    Roy Nrwsome certainly had his baton well oiled here. Trop vite pour moi. I don't recognise the solo cornet. Anyone?

      Looks like a younger Roger Webster to me.

      Roger went on that tour, so of course it is him. Same haircut too.
      Such a great band and piece. Played superfast too.

      Nigel Fielding on sop and Morgan Griffiths on solo euphonium. This band was the same under David King. After him things changed drastically....
