This was great. I've often wanted to see how some characters would interact with each other. In addition to the ones here (especially the four archons), some examples include... -Xiao, Cyno, and Sara having a warrior's mutual respect for each other. -Heizou, Yelan, and Rosaria would make a great crime-solving team. -Noelle and Thoma would probably enjoy housekeeping together. -Ganyu, Sayu, and Layla would just nap. -And I would've like to have seen Amber and Collei reunite.
Seeing all the characters celebrate together is amazing but for me the final scene is the most important. The Traveler spending it together with Xiao is very touching and I bet he really appreciated it.
I am 100% here for Zhongli being with the other archons during this event and the couple seconds of Albedo running to see what damage Klee caused made my morning.
Man the fact that everyone in genshin has atleast someone out there who understands the same role as them like the 3 Heads of the Nation, The Archons coming together, and xiao with aether is just so respectful
Apart from the archons and traveler, Xiao probably also has Shenhe. It may not be immediately obvious and hasn't been addressed directly but it's implied that Xiao helped train her because she demonstrates similar physical feats (when she saves the Traveler during the Beisht cutscene), and as she has suffered similar abuse and isolation and has cultivated similar rigorous self-control, she should understand him better than most.

Yes this!!!! My favourite was definitely Albedo scared for Klee, Xiao & Traveller and Beidou & Kazuha together!!! But other favourite crossover parts were Klee & Qiqi hanging out, Ningguang & Jean/Albedo & Tighnari in same shot and Cyno & Itto playing tcg!! ^w^💖
That was so beautiful. Im so happy that Xiao had a companion in Aether. The best thing possible, really. The Albedo and Klee part was so adorable! That's amazing how many scenes they put in such a short video
I loved the fact that everyone is together, and unlike the previous lantern ritual, we were left with Xiao watching the lights in the sky. Gradually he is getting closer to the traveler and becoming more amiable. this is so beautiful.

The Archons drinking and dinning (Nahida juice, Ei sake, Morax osmanthus wine & Venti beer), the Idol trio dancing together (Barbara, Nilou and Yun Jin), the Leaders (Ningguang, Jean & Ayato),... This is the most beautiful and touching Lantern Rite thus far.
What really stood out to me is that even though we saw multiple characters interacting together, Traveler CHOSE to spend his time with Xiao, now on the third year, Xiao is finally spending the lantern rite with traveler
Every single detail about this is amazing. Cyno and Itto playing cards, the archons hanging out, the performers from the nations dancing together, ningguan and ayato and Jean hanging at the jade chamber, this is literally perfect in every single way possible. I want more interactions between characters from different nations is so cute!!

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE how all the Archons are sitting together enjoying their time, while the dancers of Teyvat are all together and the all the officials in their own nation are standing on the Jade Chamber looking down upon Liyue
I love little details like 1:12 Cyno and Itto playing TCG, 1:09 Nilou, Yunjin and Barbruh dancing, 1:20 the respective leaders of each nation (Ayato, Ning and Jean), it's so short but just gives so much fanservice of these characters interacting with each other, it's amazing lol
i loved Albedo and Tighnari, they had papers in their hands and if Albedo wasn't doing some drawing surely Tighnari was talking about the sumeru plants to him. seeing the traveler go to Xiao to watch the fireworks and lanterns warmed my heart, to me it feels like a promise fulfilled to make Xiao see the lantern festival for years to come

All the archons together with each their own cup sharing a toast and three artist having fun on a stage. Its the little things but it makes it so pretty. The animation was absolutely beautiful props to those who worked on it
The scene with the Traveler and Xiao warmed my heart watching the lantern right together. Both as a Xiao main and for the way Xiao has opened up to the Traveler through everything

I hope this becomes a yearly thing but they keeping adding more characters, or maybe more shorts where all the characters are in them. It's so sweet to see them all (most of them at least) together and just chilling 😭❤❤
I just love genshin when it does it. I absolutely love when charas from different regions make fun connections like Klee and Qiqi, Itto and Cyno, Yae and Xingqiu, dancers gang and so on. It makes the game livelier and more precious

I love this whole video and seeing all the characters together... but Xiao at the end and joined by Traveler seriously made me tear up, I'm so happy he is not only watching the lantern rite willingly, but also he's watching it with someone at his side

Considering the ups and downs that Liyue has faced and now seeing how prosperous the nation has become and everyone coming together for the Lantern Rite does make you smile. You can see from Zhong Li's reaction how proud he's of current Liyue. He made a bet and won.
