we see lords and gods in Elden Ring (hell, even Elden Lords), but Morgott is the only actual individual we encounter who explicitly refers to himself as "king" and fills the role of one
Graceless Tarnished. What is thy business with these thrones? Ahh... Godrick the Golden. The twin prodigies, Miquella and Malenia. General Radahn. Praetor Rykard. Lunar Princess Ranni. Wilful traitors, all. Thy kind are all of a piece. Pillagers. Emboldened by the flame of ambition. Have it writ upon thy meagre grave: Felled by King Morgott! Last of all kings.
Unpopular opinion: This is where the game should have ended, the quality is a standout at this point, one of the highest peaks in Fromsoft history. If this were the final boss I would have no problems. You would need to buff him quite a bit cause right now he's really squishy but this is the best example from this game of a perfect fight through and through, and the highlight of my first playthrough.
Well, he is the final boss of the mid-game after all...but yes, he is carring the 25%buff hp rune, he should have more hp (or the game is telling us that he is very weak in vigor and the rune is helping him the best it can)
The people have spoken yet again. What would you like to hear next?
Radagon's theme
Godric the Grafted phase 1

a literal king. Morgott wants us to hate him but I just can't, the guy's awesome
