I have the same Mini UPS as yours Ultra Lan 17W 8.8AH and it's powering two devices [fiber router and ONT]both requires 12V. So I only get 2 hours. I guess if both devices were on 9V then I would certainly get 4 hours.
Hi, how long did your device last before the battery got weak? I’m trying to get this and I have a friend that said his lasted two months and after that, it barely lasted 10 minutes.
Thanks for this. Question - my router takes 9v and the walled fibre unit takes 12v. How do i cater for this as there is only one switch on the UPS - i.e 9 or 12v
In this case you will need two units unfortunately as only outputs one voltage. Look at the Gizzu Units. They have two separate outputs with 2 separate selectors
I have a question once i put it on charge it doesnt show status and all the dots keep turning on and off so is it chargingbor no is it plbroken and how can i fix it? Please im bigg fan
Hi , thank you for the informative video. I wanted to ask how do you know which volts to chose on the selectors. And should the UPS be plugged in all the time or you only connect it when there is a power outage?
Hi there. For the voltage you can check the sticker behind your router. It should be written either 9V or 12V input. You can select the same output on the UPS. The UPS can be plugged in all the time. It will charge as needed and switch over when the power goes out. I personally don't leave it on as I feel it may damage the battery. I charge it separately and switch it in when needed. But there is no harm in leaving it plugged in :)
You could leave it on charge permanently. It does have an auto charge shut off but I'd recommend you keep it charged and store it until you need it. The only time I personally keep it charging while there's power is if I'm busy with sensitive work and should the lights go off it keeps the internet up
The downside with this ups is the cable being very short and not reaching far places. You may need to purchase a separate unit to run the antenna outside if it uses the same input port
Does my backup need to be fully charged for the first time? I bought it, then connected supply input; status turned to green. I connected 12V output to my router, but it doesn’t turn on. Battery backup is 25% and charging for now
Thank you for this direct and simple explanation ion. Bought a router ups and have no clue how to set it up without damaging it. This helped!
You were clear, precise and simple. Thank you so much🎉🙏🏽
Great information thanks. Some reviewer said there is no auto switch so I came here to make sure there is.

@@thehowtochannelpremium7136 thank you 🙏🏾 I will just use it when needed.
Thank you.
Appreciate. Should I leave the ups on charge permanently?

Low quality video, however, the information and demonstration is solid 👍🏽
Thank you very much. Don't have much equipment to work with but we will get there ♡
why is it when the power goes out my ups turns off too?
You didn't explain how to use the lan ports and what is the perhaps of it . Please help .
Thanks in advance
I'm so sorry a sorry about that one. I'm not sure myself why they are there but I will have a look and return to you
The LAN ports are for inserting POE
To power a camera for instance
@@muctop17 they have nothing to do with rutor right? as long as there is no POE, you can put it wherever you want?
Very helpful thank you very much!
Thank you so much
Can I charge my ups while it's off and not connecting to the router
Yes you may do that. It will still charge and can work perfectly
Hi, I have a router with an outside antenna, could you please explain how to connect both router and antenna to ups to keep wifi going, thanks
The downside with this ups is the cable being very short and not reaching far places. You may need to purchase a separate unit to run the antenna outside if it uses the same input port
If you router says 5V, do you select 9V or 12V on your UPS
9v i think cause is lower
Can u connect a tv on it
I've done everything everything ad per the video, however I have no internet connection to my router when I'm running on UPS.
Very strange. Could this be because of your internet exchange being offline perhaps ?
The satellite is stil not connected
I'm expecting the same challenge

Only lasts 3.5 hrs
Depends on Brand and How long it was used. Unfortunately as time progressed, this one lossed power and only lasts 2 hours
