They would be ideal for use around airports I recon
A lot of exposed cabling in the rear wheel well - although you need a lot of protection to guard from a tyre blowout/disintegration, even basic sheeting would protect from twigs and other debris snagging on the cabling.
Nice vehicle but the streets though, Everything looks so well kept and people so relaxed. Quite a contrast for me!

I drive older Citaros and new versions like this but diesel. The older cab layout is better. If you inadvertently leave the cab window open and it rains the buttons which are directly below the window get soaked which renders the bus useless. In service the cab door magnetic catch fails which means you have to hold on to the door with one hand and the doors become inoperative effectively meaning you have broken down. I prefer the simple manual door catch. Keep it simple.
why would u even open the window? thats why you have hvac.....
I'm curious to know what pedals are used. Car like or bus derived like on wright/Alexander Dennis? Love the look and quality of the Citaro.
