Actually Windows 10 and 11 uses Acrylic and Mica as their themes, which both are horrible. In Windows 11 especially there's a wide limitation of colors, a lot of them not being supported by Windows, and no matter wha tyou do and change, the colors don't give you the same transparency as Windows 7 or 8 did, it feels useless most of the time, and some colors works way better than others. Theming-wise, Windows XP had the most beautiful one after Windows 7. Aero in Windows 7 is a pinneacle of beauty and runs fast and doesn't use too much GPU. It's very well made and even today if you install Windows 7 on a PC, anyone who uses Windows 11 will look at it and say: Wow, this is beautiful, how can I apply this theme to my Windows?
