Balding and feeling worthless??? Man I hate hearing that men feel like this. I can only speak from a woman's perspective, but I wish men knew that a LOT of women find bald men HOT, even when they're young, especially when they shave it ALL off. I know it's harder to lose your hair when you're young, but there will still be women your age who will find you attractive. But you've got to just own it, because confidence is attractive. I have two experiences with young balding men. One is my brother, he starting balding when he was just SIXTEEN. He had zero confidence and it really showed. When he shaved his head for the first time, when he was eighteen, it made him feel a lot more confident in his looks. It wasn't a month before he had his first girlfriend, who thought he was good looking and was attracted to him and really couldn't have cared less about his lack of hair. And I myself, dated a bald guy when we were both twenty. I was attracted to his shaved head, I thought he looked really good like that. There are women who will be attracted to bald men and women who, even if maybe bald isn't their thing, will still be attracted to you because of your good qualities. I wish men knew bald heads are not as big a deal as they think it is, when it comes to a women finding them attractive. I always recommend shaving it all off, but again, this is coming from a woman's perspective. 💖💖💖 Sorry to rant, I just had a lot to say about this. 😊😊😊

As a random person who never thinks about all this bald stuff in my normal day to day life, I can say that when I see someone who is balding and they might be trying to cover it up, it's super noticeable. Not in a judging way or anything, it can just stand out quite a bit. I've been watching videos from this channel and I finally went ahead and shaved my head. I loved it. My hair isn't as bad as a lot of the videos here but I can see it worsen in 4-5 years. So I figured might as well start now.
Just hit the gym! That shit builds so much confidence. My hair started thinning at 18 and i started to go the gym around that same time frame. Im now 27 and been going to the gym ever since.
My hairline has been receding since I was 15 but I’ve always managed to cover it with my hairstyle. eh. Every video is gonna get disliked. Some people maybe came to this video thinking it would be a physical solution to their balding rather than a mental one. They’ll come around eventually. That’s the purpose of this channel.
I really wish I discovered this channel a long time ago, I really struggled through my teenage years cause I don't consider myself as an ugly dude, in fact my friends told me some girls were actually attracted to me, but my insecureness about balding, and lack of confidence about my looks drove them away. I'm 32 yrs now and I shaved my head some months ago and I love how I look. I'm very confident about myself but also there comes a time where you don't even care about what other people think of you, I guess better late than never, but I really regret all the years I could have enjoyed without worrying about my hair and just enjoy and accept myself as a bald dude I am.
I started to go bald around 24 I’m now 52. At the time I started going bald I did start to lose a lot of confidence. I was always good with getting women but for a year I lost confidence. But moment I decided to shave the head bald my confidence went up more and the attention I got from women went through the roof. I could just walk in a club and women would be touching my head. Then we start chatting and this happens all the time. I became super confident and still today some 20 years on it still the same and always get attention.
@@blakbear6528 Hello It was my mates at 1st saying your going bald on top. I would say I’m not my hair as always been fine. But then I started to notice it more myself. As a few years went by it just got thinner and thinner and tried to cover it up but it always looked stupid. Then one day I had enough and was walking past a barber in my town. He’s was an old guy called George and I went into him and just said shave it off. He was so nice and talked to me as he was doing it telling me how much better it looks taking it off. He Kept saying things like you got a perfect face for a shaved head and it looks better than anyone he had seen before. Of course it didn’t but what he was doing was building my confidence up for me. I left his shop with a big smile on my face and will always be grateful to him for helping me through the process of shaving it off. He passed away a long time ago but I always think about what a gent he was.
Lmao my first relationship went three years and my hair had started to recede just a bit here and there by the time I was 17.. at 21 I decided to shave it all off for the first time. Sure, it sucks to lose control over certain aspects of your body, but I can still walk, I can still do the things I like... nothing has really changed in my life from shaving my head besides having more confidence and less to fret over in the morning.
I don't think men who tell kids in their early twenties "just shave it because women don't care" are operating in good faith. Or they're just naive. I'm in my twenties and I've given up counting the no. of times I've heard female friends write off or mock a guy because he's losing his hair. There will no doubt be men who say "well you don't want a woman like that in your life" but they don't account for the fact that, at that age, it's the majority.
@@johncrow2852 I think sociopathic behaviour (preoccupation with self, hyper individualism and narcissism) has been normalised if not encouraged among my generation. It's invisible due to its ubiquity. But.. you have to play the game to a degree.. No one wants to be ostracized by there peers. I know that looks women to matter. I want a woman. Ergo, I have to prioritise my looks. To suggest otherwise is to not deal with reality on reality's terms.
I watch this channel to support my boyfriend in his journey and I can solidly say, as a significant other, we just want you to feel good!! Feeling good and confident is hella attractive, no matter how much hair you have. We figure itll be gone somewhere down the road anyways so do what feels good, guys. If shes with you for your hair, gtfo because that's a clear red flag 🚩😂
@@sircollin22 wrong hair is not your identity what you are is inside... your personality, you can have all the hair you want to if you're not attractive on the inside nobody will care what you look like on the outside
@@donaldallen5748 i agree that personality is very important of course, but the way you look too, when you see someone for the 1st time you judge unconsciently how this person looks, that s why i say hair is part of our identity, is not just hair !
@@sircollin22 it's only your identity if you let that be your only identity, for example if you dye your hair a lot and talk about hair all the time people are gonna know you as " oh yeah that's the guy with really good hair" and once you start going bald someday they od course are gonna be like "lol wtf happened to this guy he doesn't look good at all without hair"
I'm going bald since 20 and I just turned 23 on the 4th. My girlfriend got with me right before my hair starting taking a dive. She noticed a little hair loss but not all of it because I hide it well combing my hair backwards. I've asked her if she would still love me or be with me if I was bald or shave my head. She said she would still love me and she does love my hair but it doesn't matter if it's gone because she genuinely loves me for me not just my hair. I haven't shaved yet but my next hair cut will probably need to be a buzz cut because it's getting more noticeable. This 22 year old reminds me a lot of myself, I'm just lucky that she made the first move otherwise I'd be in the same situation as him because I was very very shy with women. I couldn't imagine going bald without a girlfriend to support and love me, I would've felt worthless aswell. Good thing this channel exists for people in these stressful scenarios.
Loving the content and what you're doing for everyone with these videos. Awesome to see a youtuber local to me in the New Forest. I am not afraid to lose my hair but I have noticed that I am thinning in areas but it isn't that noticeable to others as I have thick curly hair, not sure when is the right time to buzz it off as I am happy with it either way.
I've been there, had low confidence and felt worthless. However- only 1 person really decides your worth: you do. Take a look in the mirror, if the man you see is not the man you want to be, start to get to work. You have to have confidence in yourself, be confident in who you are. Before, I had a receding hairline, chubby, and no confidence, I did not like who I was. However, I started working out more, ate healthy, shaved my head, and turned myself into who I want to be. Guess what? Women like me more, "you look so good!", "Wow you've changed huh?". They like me more because I like me more, and if they don't like me? That's fine because I think I'm the Bees Knees, the Cats Pajamas. No matter who's in our bed at night, you truly only go to bed with yourself, so you might as well like who you sleep with. I'm 24 and there's absolutely nothing special about me, if I can do it, you can. I believe in myself and I believe in you.
Man I find myself actually hot 🔥 after shaving but as the day goes on a lot of negative thoughts hit my head, for example: what is society thinking about me, I'm looking older than I am, I'm never gonna get a girlfriend they'd rather have a boyfriend with hair. I'm currently 25 years old but I look like 30 years old there is no denying anymore and I just feel left out especially at this day and time where everything is about face looks. And with that I end up feeling worthless again
You sound just like me... yeah man, I thought I could accept the bald look (and tbh I think I look decent), but ultimately I can't help but feel a little insecure about it. Most of us look better with hair unfortunately and acceptance is hard, I'm also not sure if I can continue with finasteride right now as well. Just know that you're not alone and not all women think the bald look is a turn off. Meanwhile work on what you can control I guess.
Looks matter, but they are superficial. I’m sure you have other qualities that are good and can improve on. I’m currently thinning all over my scalp and am very sad about it. I have a girlfriend myself and I would consider myself a handsome dude. However I’m worried about what she’ll think once I have to shave my head. Even if I lose my hair I know I have other qualities such as my blue eyes, eye brows, I’m tall, and I am currently trying to get a little more fit. Life’s not over when your bald.
@@Baldcafe I've watched it and definitely agree with you but those negative thoughts come up automatically and when I have a really bad day sometimes people even confirm those thoughts for example they say I look way older than I currently am and this completely destroys my confidence down to zero again, it's like the circle of hell for me.
Two sights I would like to see to make Baldness more acceptable First a totally Bald Future king of England , How much better would Prince William look after he shaved that bit he has round the sides. Second Bald café merchandise , Maybe tee-shirts , baseball caps , Hoodies ect
Thanks man, this helps. Sometimes I feel like I am an outsider. It has since 2015 that I am balding. And between that year and 2019 I have not so many friends. Because I thought what would people say a young guy balding.
13:48 immediately thought about that time a women in the queue behind me at McDonald's complemented my hair 😅. But seriously though, the video is good advice
I think it might be hard if you wanna go out to clubs and slay va-jay-jay every weekend being a 20 year old bald dude. That's for pretty boys. But finding a sincere connection with someone is above your looks and you shouldn't worry.
Shave your head and in general take better care of yourself. Cutout unhealthy habits. Eat better. Exercise more. We evolved to just look for meat and honey all day long. Now that we’ve solved the problem of food, we don’t know what to do with ourselves and our brains can take us to some scary places. I think we need to constantly challenge our minds and our bodies
Nothings worse than every girl you've been with saying they love your hair, being told by girls "I think most girls like you because you have cool hair" and that always being the only compliment you get and then you start balding. My family growing up has always made fun of bald people and I'm the only one in it going bald and I feel like I'm not going to be accepted with them.. now I feel like ill have nothing to offer. Goodluck guys
He's lucky I wish I had a nice clean bald head for me I got to accept a few lumps on my left side of my head which I'm somewhat embarrassed about but I'm also kind of trying to get used to it.
Bald head is bad ass OKAY. I have a full head of hair, but even I want to shave my head. The only reason I don’t want to do it again is because the back of my head looks like a potato. If you are going bald, literally just go bald!! I admire a nice shiny bald headed man. :)
One comment mate, its fair for a girl to say i like your eyes, or your height/build but its not fair to like someones hair? Girls look at eyes/hair/height etc buuut if you are tall and have a decent face you'll be ok, on the positive side of things. Its rly sad to be bald, short and fat. To be honest, its about having other striking quality to compensate for that lack of hair. The Rock, insane height/build/muscles, great face, great chin, great confidence. Most guys don't have great striking qualities to compensate but a big quality is the emotional comb over, its the best thing you can do, never show it bothers you or dont talk about it, shave your hair and use the emotional comb over on yourself, laugh at it, never bring it up, never complain, act all stoic :)). I think i find the putting up a front side of things pretty fun. You can fake confidence and stocism to a degree of movie heroism :)) you dont need to actually be that.
Hey Harry, I was wondering if you can hook me up with a link or the brand of the T-Shirt you were wearing in the beginning of the "RECREATING ICONIC BALD MEN LOOKS". Its like a Dark Grey-Blueish-Purple Oversize Tee. You wear it while you're shopping. I've been looking everywhere for shirts like that.
I wont lie going from having hair to bald seems to be something that even someone you're with could leave youi for. I've seen girls say their bf went bald and they lost attraction. I guess you have to meet them already bald
If my girlfriend leaves me once I shave my head, I’ll be very sad but I wouldn’t want to stay with someone who wasn’t attracted to me because I’m bald.
No, men have been insecure about that for far longer than social media and the internet have been around. I think it has more to do with being confronted with the idea of aging in a visible way.
For the one, who sent you the message. Pursue excellence, don't pursue women! Go and search on RUclips the Chanel from Richard Cooper (Entrepreneur in Cars). This man will change your life! Cheers!
Nowadays everyone can avoid baldness. We are very lucky to live in this age, when we have therapies and treatments that work very well stoping baldness. It is important, off course, to start treatment on time. So if you are reading this and your baldness is starting, go to a dermatologist today!
@@StudioMograph Treatments for alopecia are safe in the vast majority of cases, and even in the cases in which side effects appear, they are not neccesary "horrible". In most of the rare cases when side effects appear, they are low and temporary.
One thing I thought about today that’s kinda strange and is quite the double standard. I feel like men don’t get the courtesy to feel feelings like women do, and there’s all these movements towards women to help benefit them in society but none for men really. Like fat shaming, you will be annihilated for fat shaming someone but women can shame men for being bald and no one bats an eye. Idk. It’s weird that bald men don’t get brought up in any mental health conversations when society very much so attributes to many mental health issues with bald men. Society says we are unattractive and worthless because we are bald. It’s weird we don’t get the same respect as others when it comes to mental health
Do you think this is also in part to the fact that many men (myself included) were raised with no clear guidance about how to express our feelings? When I first shaved my head, I did get some careless comments from girls - and from my parents. And I sat them down and told them how hair loss had affected me personally throughout the years - and they were very receptive. It was also the first time they had ever heard these feelings being expressed. In one case, a woman became misty eyed, and expressed how sorry she was that she never knew how deeply this issue can affect us. It can SEEM like there is a horrible double standard in place. I think that is partly true. But the other half is on us to get brave and honest about our feelings and mental health issues, in my opinion.
This man deserves an award. Helping so many struggling guys out there

I'm very confident about myself but also there comes a time where you don't even care about what other people think of you, I guess better late than never, but I really regret all the years I could have enjoyed without worrying about my hair and just enjoy and accept myself as a bald dude I am.
Glad you’ve found your lane with it all now brother 🤝 you have many many great years ahead of you.

“The rest of you is neither here nor there to be honest” hahaha made me laugh that did. Class mate.
I became super confident and still today some 20 years on it still the same and always get attention.
im 24 now , but i wanna know how did you started noticing hair loss at my age?
@@blakbear6528 Hello
It was my mates at 1st saying your going bald on top.
Wow. Your subscriber account has rocketed since I last visit. Well done dude, well deserved.

Thanks for watching and being a part of it all Jerry 👍
I feel bad for anyone under 25 especially anyone under 21 who is dealing with this.
@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa this generation is legitimately sociopathic but nobody seems to talk about it
@@johncrow2852 I think sociopathic behaviour (preoccupation with self, hyper individualism and narcissism) has been normalised if not encouraged among my generation.
Hair is not just hair, is part of your identity !
Hey Ayyy, i'm sure you'll look great. It's even an opportunity to display your level of inner-confidence to her by not being too concerned about it
Loving the content and what you're doing for everyone with these videos.
Please watch the whole video 🙏
@@endoftime0 look for treatments if you feel that way, Hairtransplant is the way to go !
Two sights I would like to see to make Baldness more acceptable First a totally Bald Future king of England , How much better would Prince William look after he shaved that bit he has round the sides.
Second Bald café merchandise , Maybe tee-shirts , baseball caps , Hoodies ect
I just think abt my bald head as a filter for shallow and superficial people
Thanks man, this helps. Sometimes I feel like I am an outsider. It has since 2015 that I am balding. And between that year and 2019 I have not so many friends. Because I thought what would people say a young guy balding.
Thank you 🙏
great advice

But seriously though, the video is good advice
I think it might be hard if you wanna go out to clubs and slay va-jay-jay every weekend being a 20 year old bald dude. That's for pretty boys. But finding a sincere connection with someone is above your looks and you shouldn't worry.
To be fair I'm the pretty boy out of my group of mates and I'm the bald one. Maybe that says more for my friends than me :D
@@tomgarify Yeah there are exceptions. Maybe your charisma is exceptional, and yes, some dudes actually do look very good shaved.
I’m really struggling. I’m a Norwood 5 at age 28. Not sure if I want to go down the transplant route.
I wonder if any of the bald celeberties has send a response back to him from one of the video's from before.
No more 😞 we’ll get there
Nothings worse than every girl you've been with saying they love your hair, being told by girls "I think most girls like you because you have cool hair" and that always being the only compliment you get and then you start balding. My family growing up has always made fun of bald people and I'm the only one in it going bald and I feel like I'm not going to be accepted with them.. now I feel like ill have nothing to offer. Goodluck guys
How's life going for you now, bud?
People are so self-absorbed they really pay no attention to your hair loss. Go outside and live a little.
+1
for the most part yes. But I've had times strangers have had to make a joke about my balding/baldness. And getting women is distinctly harder.
Any idea when the ‘Butter’ will be back available?
He's lucky I wish I had a nice clean bald head for me I got to accept a few lumps on my left side of my head which I'm somewhat embarrassed about but I'm also kind of trying to get used to it.
Bald head is bad ass OKAY. I have a full head of hair, but even I want to shave my head. The only reason I don’t want to do it again is because the back of my head looks like a potato. If you are going bald, literally just go bald!! I admire a nice shiny bald headed man. :)
Keep up posting videos of any kind that has to do with being bald. Everyone can use a roll (role...? dunno xD) model. Someone to look up too.
Man people never feel worthless over stuff you can't control.
Do you still have the mk2 Golf?🙏
You are such a hottie! I shave my head too and appreciate a fellow bald guy.
It’s not about how good the hair itself looks, it’s how the hair affects your FACE.
Yo all gonna shave my head after a week .I am 18 and I have started balding like my hairline is so thin so yup I’m gonna do it I’m gonna shave it

My guy you’re a therapist who specializes in hair loss.
I wont lie going from having hair to bald seems to be something that even someone you're with could leave youi for. I've seen girls say their bf went bald and they lost attraction. I guess you have to meet them already bald
Better off without that level of shallowness. A blessing in disguise of that’s the case

Do people think Social Media is a culprit in why us men feel less confident when losing our hair?
I think it certainly has an impact
No, men have been insecure about that for far longer than social media and the internet have been around. I think it has more to do with being confronted with the idea of aging in a visible way.
Why no beard tho?
i've had girls in bed who tell me they love my hair but never once said they loved me haha. Never thought about that before.

Nowadays everyone can avoid baldness. We are very lucky to live in this age, when we have therapies and treatments that work very well stoping baldness. It is important, off course, to start treatment on time. So if you are reading this and your baldness is starting, go to a dermatologist today!

For sure, but a lot of potential horrible side-effects

It’s something I reflect on often with a lot of the zoom calls etc that I have with people. You’re spot on
Do you think this is also in part to the fact that many men (myself included) were raised with no clear guidance about how to express our feelings?
When I first shaved my head, I did get some careless comments from girls - and from my parents. And I sat them down and told them how hair loss had affected me personally throughout the years - and they were very receptive. It was also the first time they had ever heard these feelings being expressed. In one case, a woman became misty eyed, and expressed how sorry she was that she never knew how deeply this issue can affect us.
It can SEEM like there is a horrible double standard in place. I think that is partly true. But the other half is on us to get brave and honest about our feelings and mental health issues, in my opinion.
