I'll sheepishly admit I've been a bit of a Rogan-podcast fanboy since he first uploaded to YT.
His stand-up is NOWHERE NEAR the caliber of a Bill Burr (that Jenner joke notwithstanding, of course). I'd imagine even Joe would probably agree, although he probably "kills" as hard Bill because of his celebrity/fandom.
I feel he still has the best podcast in the world, even with "the establishments" attempts to tarnish his message/image.

A friend of mine nearly died actually entered the statistic in the news, but after a lot of money spent and hospitalization survived by some miracle but is still battling the damage it did and after all this time got blind but they were able to save one eye but blurry or gets tired easy! People have dormant weaknesses that they don't know and these types of viruses attack there and you are totally unprepared! It's no joke! A couple of other people I knew died... may they rest in peace!
I guess you were incredibly unlucky and im incredibly lucky that i don’t know a single person that died from it. In the end i guess it evens out

My grandma is 85 and kicked it after being in the ICU. If she made it at her age then your friend is super unlucky or had underlying health issues they didn't know about. Like going blind is probably a sign of high blood pressure.

Bill and Joe both came out of the Boston Comedy scene in the 90s and havd known each for over 20 odd years. They're totally comfortable verbally bashing each other, and both are top tier level at it.
I got fully vaccinated and had zero symptoms. Arm was a bit sore from the first one for a couple days but that’s it. Wasn’t bad at all.

To be fair to Bill and Joe, this was early in the pandemic. There's a lot of information Joe and Bill didn't know at the time. They've both changed their tunes on a lot of things they said in the early pandemic, as they should have, even though with most of the stuff they said they were just being funny and not serious.

hope your dad got well. yeah, we don't know the side-effects of mrna vaccines fully but we know at least half of what the virus itself can do. my brother works in a hospital and he made me pretty sure i wouldn't want to be on covid zone. even people who get over the disease with a bit of sneeze and diarrhea would come to check up their lungs after a year and they are permenantly damaged in x-ray like you had severe pneumonia. nuh-uh, vaccine seems like the lesser evil to me now.

I agree with you. Joe Rogan as a comic is a little too manic and forceful in going after laughs. Bill Burr has always been generous with all comedians because, I think, he respects those who try to get up there alone with a microphone to make people laugh.

@SpacePurpBarney even if the vaccine isn't preventing the virus it's actually helpful as the people who are vaccinated didn't get severe symptoms compared to people who doesn't get their vaccine shot. I know this from personal experience and what I've scene in my family.

I got covid last year and I got the delta variant the end of last month and it sounds like your reaction to the booster was worse then actual covid (both kinds) where to me. Other then how long it lasted and this last time the lost of smell and teste It wasn't much different then some bad flus I have had in some ways it was worse and in others not nearly as bad.
