Will be flying mine tomorrow for the first time.
I recently upgraded this summer from a Spark to the Air 2. Much easier to fly and has a lot more safety features that the spark did not offer. longer range and better video transmission as well. Great Product.
I love air2!!
Congratulations for your work
Like 👍 👍 👍
Thanks for the info and links 👍👍
Thanks for the help. I ordered a bunch of the gear you recommended. I engineered my own iPad 10" holder with wire ties but I was unaware of DJI's brand, so I ordered one. More stable than mine. Happy Flying!!!!
Thanks for the video. Waving from The Bahamas.
Nicely done.....some cool gadgets there buddy thanks for the choices.....👍😉😎
I like that acessories ...very importent for drone...thanks...
Great video bud.. I thought I had every accessory I needed for these drones but I was wrong.. Lol... I'm missing too!.. I'm loving that sunshade for the phone on the mavic air 2 controller 👍👍 as well as that tablet mount for that controller from DJI. Grrrr it's always out of stock! Lol. Great job! As Always Sean! 💙💙👍👍
Mikey
Nice video. Thanks you.
Great, helpful and straight to the point vid, thank you
Thank you
Not bad. I was hoping for a case. 😩
Thank you
I use this bag to put the drone in the combo bag, better for the propellers and then the landing gear is good against dust, but the multicharger is by far my best buy and the monitor hood is indispensable in the sun, I also have the dji carcharger, tabletmount, I totally agree with everything, great review, new sub and like
Great review. Thanks
Thank you and thanks for watching
Another good video
Good information
Need DJI mini 2 special accessories video ❤️
That’s coming next 🙂
@@AirPhotography I love my mini 2. (favorite drone now) I bought the Wrapgrade skin from Japan & she’s a beauty ✈️
Thanks
Good content as always
Thank you
A very usefull video!
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it
Thats a lot of gear.
Only got some case (separated between drone and RX) so its easy to pack (SunnyLife) 20 bucks.
A silicone sleeve for the TX 5bucks
That carcharger was like 15 bucks.(have cut it up, as I only needed to MA2 plugs and would fit some PD triggers on their cables, as I wanted to use my power delivery PD powerbanks, and I reckon 12v or 15v would do, even though its rated at like 13.2v officially but the charger says 12.6v so I reckon I had some room.
but nope. did not work, these IQ batteries are extremely narrow in their charging window and wont play along if your outside that narrow voltage window, so I either need to boost the 12v PD or buck the 15v PD down in that window..
That carcharger does both, as it will take from 12v to 16v, so I just use that as pass thrue cirquitry.
and then I got a cheap extender to my tablets (4bucks)., and are just a cheap piece of plastic you swide in between the metal bars when antenna is unfolded, works great with my Tab S5e LTE, and then I found the same cable as you have there... costed a few bucks... all from CN.
and last Item I got was that 4.8,32 ND DJI pack.. which I picked up second hand on eBay. (20bucks)
Best purchase was the case.. as they are very nice and with velour and I really love they are separated into two parts for easy packing, and I don't have to take of the sticks.
Cool coconuts! Cheers
Great video! Just got mine in the fly more combo for about 600$ from amazon. Was an amazing sale.
Really? You sure it wasn't the Mini 2? I'm not aware of any major Air 2 sales at the moment. Got a link?
A llt of people bought it on amazon italy for 51% discount. 490€ ecept of 1050€ and it was fake. No drone came. Amazon is good because you get your money back
costco has the basic drone plus one extra battery, I went directly to DJI for the flymore combo.
Always buy from a reputable source, else kiss your money goodbye.
Great stuff, do the lights on the Air already count as Anti Collision Lights for the US?
I have one and I’m not sure you could see them from 3 SM away. I installed a Lume Cube on top of the battery to be sure. Order extra Velcro If you have multiple batteries. I haven’t flown with it yet, though.
No.
Nice. I am thinking about getting the MA2 in the spring depending on what might be released in the meantime or any rule changes. I do like that propeller strap and also the sled style landing gear. I always enjoy your videos and if I don’t leave a note in the meantime have a merry Christmas!
Thank you very much and merry Christmas to you as well
First man here. Keep up the great content
I think the best accessory for Mavic Air 2 is DJI Smart Controller.
Yes indeed
Thank you for the helpful reviews! I bought the USB-C cable and TOMAT car charger.
Can you review the Hanatora Battery Wall Charger & Car Charger for DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone next?
I want this drone so badddd🙄
Un mare like👍👏👍
Thank you been waiting for this!!!
I don't have a mavic. Will probably never get a mavic. Yet I still watch your video 😂
Well I really appreciate the support 🙂
@@AirPhotography I'd really appreciate if you could do a Mini 2 battery discharge test. It has been 10 days with no use and the indicator is still giving me 4 flashing lights. I understand they are supposed to auto discharge after 5 days but I am not seeing results. Scared of damaging my batteries :(
I got it

Please tell me I’m right
Excellent video, thank you! However, any tips (from anyone) on a «grabbing stick» for easier hand recovery on a moving boat? I am comfortable with hand launching and recovery on land, but doing it while sailing singlehanded is next level stuff. (And no, you can’t just stop the boat, although slowing down to walking speed is usually possible.)
I know im asking the wrong place but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Rex Brandon instablaster =)
@Dangelo Vihaan Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Dangelo Vihaan It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much you really help me out!
@Rex Brandon Happy to help :)
Wait why wouldn't caring around a landing pad be an option? They are all pretty much made of fabric, they are less that an inch thick when closed, you wouldn't have to worry about grass, sand, dirt, gravel loke you said. I guess some people think they will never have a problem. I for one was taught Preventive Maintenance and always be ready for the unexpected. Hmmm $1,400 dollar Drone or $19.99 for a Landing Pad or less if you choose cheap crap. To each his/her own.
Hey AP... the Amazon listing says that the multi charger takes 90 minutes to 110 minutes - but hey, that's still great! I will buy one of these and use your link to do so. Reasonable price too, which was unexpected.
I guess it depends how drained the batteries are. Are usually only take my batteries down to 30% and I can charge the three I have in about an hour maybe slightly over. But if they’re right down to 10% or lower yes I could see it taking longer
@@AirPhotography That makes sense. I should have thought about that. Still, good video - and a great suggestion of a product to buy. Happy Holidays.
Thank you and happy holidays to you and your family as well
Does that sunny life prop holder fit in the GPC case? Probably not but would you have any recommendations for one that would fit?
Do you have a recco on a portable drone battery charger for when a wall plug or auto cigarette charger is unavailable?
You like the iPad Air over the mini? Looks like the new iPad minis only have 500 nits. Rather disappointing.
I've been waiting for this video, thanks man love your videos. I was in between with Mini 2 and Air 2 but bought Air 2 thanks to your comparison. But I have a question, I'm in Miami, and even though I'm connected to 14-17 satellites why my drone loses the R/C signal after 1km? Is it because there are skyscrapers around or do I have a problem with my drone?
Every location can be different depending if there’s strong interference. Most of the time I get really good range in connection strength. However there’s one spot in my city I cannot get further than 800 m and the signal starts to glitch out
With the DJI co pilot, can you download raw images directly from the SD card in the MA2 to the copilot????
not bad, but that external hard drive £500+ in the uk via amazon "ouch!" especially when theirs other options of hard drives available, at a cheaper option ....
Do you happen to know any I’ve been interested in looking into something like the co-pilot
@@beeriharel3562 I've heard the Samsung SSD T5 external hard drive recomended. A 1 terabyte one retails at about £150. I'll probably try one of those.
@@middleagedwhitebloke okay! Can it do the same thing the copilot can? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the copilot?
@@beeriharel3562 yeah sorry for the late reply
SSK Portable NAS Wireless Hard Drive 1-2TB as a simple option with in built power.. however having in-built power supply isn't really required, having large m/cards simply avoids all this.. other in built power supplied hard drivers also then increase in prices... not well named brands are cheap but reliability is a question ie it fails prematurely usually Chinese or similar products could then show their worth.
unpowered H/drives there's tons I've a seagate 1T & have used it over 2yrs..
biggest issue with taking a h/drive out & about isn't weather resistance its resistance to shock/impact as 99.99% of ALL solid state hard drives don't handle impact very well & that goes for if its fitted within a laptop OR as a external drive!!
personally I'd opt for seagate or Lacie drives, I wouldn't opt for battery powered units as thats another aspect that could go wrong/fail, you also loose the ability to ensure information has safely transferred prior to M/card being formated... as for the price options I'd not touch this due to the extremely high price point
overall best option is look around for your price bracket & equipment limitations!
for me I've a tablet with my drone
my laptop & external drive in the car ready to have data transferred safely (1 way or another) that also includes a inbuilt card reader & a external card reader. on-top of that 3 memory cards 64GB & 128GB then a 32GB ready to fly...
everything except the laptop, all together cost less then the talked about external drive & its far safer to use & ensure the collected information.
I'm not sure if you've ever blindly transferred data before only to find it didn't transfer & then you written overtop "its heart-breaking OR gut-wrenching!"
like I said, look at what your using ie tablet/mobile-phone & then look around for options suitable to your tools
@@malp6280 Omg thank you so much! One question. I need to buy an sd card but right now I just plug the cable from my air 2 right into my MacBook and transfer it that way. Is that ok? Also how do I make quick shots appear as quick shots when I transfer them into my laptop without my phone? Thanks so much for the help and have a happy holidays!
That weed is a nuisance 🤣😂🤣
Do NOT place the Strobe Light ontop the GPS RECEIVER! It affects the GPS Signal! I had a FLYAWAY! Place it on the Battery and use Velcro on eyery battery.
thanks, I just moved it.
Good tip thanks for sharing
Where can i purchase the sleeve and the shade. DJI doesn't offer them for the USA according to their website.
Hey I purchased them both on the DJI website. I do believe they are offered on Amazon as well
👍👍👌👌👌🤸🏽♂️
I have the Mavic 2 Pro but I want a smaller drone with good specs.....Should I get the Mini 2 or the Air 2????
Both are good choices I guess it’ll boils down to price and what you want to spend as well as the mini is quite a bit smaller but both do a great job in capturing content. The air 2 Does have quite a few more features as well so another thing to consider
Drone more ata Lage
Why would you want to keep batteries warm?
If you’re gonna be flying in cold or cool temperatures it’s important to keep the batteries warm
@@AirPhotography But why though? I know cold can hinder the operation of certain electronics, but lots of technology goes into keeping batteries and their components cool because most of the energy is released as heat. A lot of power/energy is wasted by that heat. Keeping batteries cool makes them last longer, no? Maybe i’m misunderstanding the rule of thumb there, i’m not anywhere close to an electronics major by any measure.
I want the MA 2 but can`t be flown to many places.
Yes larger drones can be a little restrictive with all the regulations
@@AirPhotography How about the Dji mini?
make accessories video on DJI mini 2
I just filmed one and it will be uploaded most likely on Saturday or Sunday 🙂
@@AirPhotography thanks you so much
You sound like Randy
Strobe light isnt available on amazon :(
Yes it looks like they’ve sold out. There are some other brands and styles available if you search for drone strobe
Someone has a landing pad that is small enough to put in the fly more combo bag of the mavic air 2? If possible avaiable on amazon
Check out the landing pad by moment. It folds up very small and would fit in. I’m working on a accessory video for the Mavic mini Which I will upload in a few days and I feature it.
@@AirPhotography ok thank you
I wish you had CC on this :( Im hard of hearing..
I’m not sure how to do that but I will look into it and see if I can get it enabled on my videos
@Rehab Ehab you can enable this in your settings, press the stripes on the left in the top corner, then settings, playback and performance, Subtitles... set both options, hope it works
@@AirPhotography Follow these steps, your channel, Customize channel, settings, Upload defaults, advanced settings, Original language of video and subtitles, use English
I would not purchase from Ulanzi. I made an order from them and only received a partial delivery. Attempted to contact them repeatedly with no response. They are crooks.
I’ve ordered a few times and haven’t had any problems. Have you tried contacting them on Facebook or Twitter sometimes you can get a better quicker response that way. I’m sure once you get a hold of them they will correct the issue right away
Ow full audio quality. Difficult to follow.
I wouldn’t waste my money on the drone light, since it’s illegal to fly a drone at night anyway. Obviously this guy doesn’t know FAA regulations, or he’s just trying to sell stuff.
You can fly at night by filing a waiver with the FAA. Thats why they make these lights
KT Aerial Photography But you’re Never going to get one! And don’t tell me you have because you’d be lying.
You have to remember not everyone lives in the US only US follows FAA regulations. In Canada you most certainly can fly at night with the appropriate lighting
@@AirPhotography That's true.
That bag sucks
