I think Podrick deserves one 😜
A king who served the kingdom without a throne or a crown. Just his sword and heart.
Nope
@@joseblanco3929 what do you mean nope?
@@soytube1151 his heart is breaken
And this is exactly the point that all of people who freak out about him never being king are missing…
❤
Heir to the seven kingdoms and king in the north, the real north.
the greatest hero i have seen on tv.
No one expects Jon to take the Black because Arya killed the Night King. The Black holds many castles that now belong to him and the Wildings are the people of the far north. Sansa will grant him these lands and he will be King of the true north. I think Bran will eventually have him elected king of the six kingdoms once he learns to rule both northern kingdoms when Sansa sees he is ready. And when the other lords who know who he is thanks to Varys see that he is not mad, they will support Bran's decision.
debra jenkins only problem is that D&D murdered Varys
You must have missed the vow scene in season 1
debra jenkins - That would be awesome, but I believe Jon is where he was always meant to be. The North and Castle Black is his home. I think he will serve as Lord Commander of The Watch and range beyond The Wall protecting The Free Folk and everyone else in Westeros. He is the shield that guards the realms of men!😜🐺⚔️🐺#LONGCLAWISBLACKFYRE#
The Targaryen Wolf
House targaryen with a wolf Banner
The Dragon Wolf
the north fire??
Son of Ice and Fire
At the end he stayed a person who he always was -The shield that guards the realms of men. as he chose people and Night Watch over Yiggrit/ wildlings - people over Night Watch's war against them/ protect Norh from Ramsey Bolton over his wish be far away from fighting/ and now he chose people who will be "liberated" by Dany against their wish over his love to her....It's tragedy of his character

Well said
Jon freaken snow the true hero!!!
He will grieve but he knows how to overcome loss. It is a Stark trait. He will find a new love and create a great house in the far north. The Black is no more but he has their lands and castles. They sent him north for his protection
Except that he didn't chose it
This may have been the best tribute you have ever done for a character great work
“There comes a time In every mans life when he must chose”🙏🏻
By far the best character arc in Game of thrones. We all loved Jon from the get go.

Brilliant as always. Absolutely spectacular! Jon was more Ned than Rhaegar. True son of the North. The shield that guards the realmS of men.
I think he was more Rhaegar than people think.
@@reyne2878 except jon was never the 'wife-abandoning, 14yo-fucking arsehole' ratgar was so i'd say he's waay more ned than his cunt of a birth father
@@reyne2878 Rhaegar chose love over duty....
That led to rebellion....
And the fall of Targaryens
Benjen telling Jon about love and children saying "You might (care), if you knew what it meant" makes me think Benjen always knew who Jon really was.
It's interesting how influential his two uncles were to him. Benjen (I believe knew Jon's real identity) and Aemon had no idea. Jon had no idea how he was related to one and that he was related to the other.
Show ends on Jon in the North, maybe that’s enough.
Aye.... maybe that's enough..
Aye

All Jon Snow ever wanted was to be left the hell alone. Now he finally has that. I believe it ended perfectly. King of the North.... the real North (beyond the wall.)
Jon Snow is the boss!!! This show has changed my life in a way. That one man represents so many things, he is an amazing character. Long live The King In The North/Lord Commander Snow 🐺⚔️🐺#LONGCLAWISBLACKFYRE#😜

Best Jon Snow Tribute! You have show us the true Jon! The Jon who we all love!🌹
Simply perfect. I loved the parallel between Varys-Ned and Tyrion-Jon about Sansa and Arya from the first time I watched the episode, and you included it. Great :D
He broke almost every rule of the nightwatch
Rules are made to be broken
They really did him wrong for his ending. What was the whole point of him being a Targaryen and a true Stark? What was the whole point of him coming back to life supposedly being the promise king? If at the end he was exile back to the shit hole wall where there’s nothing else left to protect it from lol. The Night King and his army are all gone, and all the Wildlings were able to cross the wall on Jon Snows command. In my opinion he deserved a better and rewarding ending
To unite the people to fight their common enemy
1) The point of him being a Targaryen was to draw a wedge between him and Dany and highlight Dany's paranoia and hypocrisy (If she is all about restoring the Targaryen dynasty, shouldn't the be HAPPY she found another Targ and gladly hand over the throne if his claim is stronger?).
2) The point of coming back to life was to be Azor Ahai, which he did become when he stabbed Dany, killing his love (Dany) to rid the world of evil (also Dany).
3) And what was the point of the NW before the start of the show? To play cops and robbers with the Wildlings? The NK and the White Walkers were legend by this time and the Wildlings were never a real threat to anyone south of Molestown. The true purpose of the NW was the same as ever, as a form of exile and prison.
Finally, why should doing the right thing be cognizant of how much of a reward you will receive?
As bad as the ending one was, the one gem was that he essentially became King of the North Beyond the Wall.
Been waiting for this tribute
He was the Prince that was promised.
So was Danny Nysa Nysa and the Great Other then? Jon choose duty over love for the third time. Maybe Lightbringer was never a sword, or a thing at all, maybe was always the idea of duty. Love being the Great Other since it's blind with one purpose (like the White Walkers), while duty is sacrifice. Just like how the OG Azora Ahai did his duty by sacrifice/ and trying three times, Jon was given that choice three times (to flee back to the North and flee his duty, and help Robb) (choice two by running away with Ygritte or staying with the Night's Watch) (choice three being Danny). Jon sacrificed and did his duty, creating a better future and defeating the Great Other. This time the Great Other was also Nysa Nysa, as Danny and her zealot route threatened the world.
My beliefs too! Have not found any video reflecting that though, have you?
I think we were falsely misled to believe that Jons destiny was to defeating the NK, but the NK was after Bran all along, could not give a shit about Jon.
He did stabbed Dany in the heart and you know 'Prophesy is a dangerous thing, I believe you have apart of it and so does another'.
The last 3 episode was meant to be seen as one. To me it makes sense that he was The Prince that was promised to bring the dawn, Azor Ahai and Dany was Nissa Nissa. Perhaps, maybe?
I don't think Jons character was as wasted as people think (plus he ended up where he wanted to be), just not explain and left us guessing. Come on books!
I still can’t decide wether he choose love over duty or duty over love.
He gave his word and pledged his honor to serve Daenerys before he was her lover and intended to honor his word after he stopped being her lover. Killing Daenerys and becoming Kingslayer and Kinslayer in one thrust was definitely not the honorable thing to do. He broke his vow to her. He broke her trust in his word.
The question is why? What was the final motivation? He seemed to imply that the people should submit to Daenerys will as she was their Queen. He implied that he was okay if Daenerys decided killing him was the way to go. It was only when Tyrion pointed out that his sisters, particularly Sansa wouldn’t kneel to Daenerys that he even hesitated at the door.
He asked Daenerys about Mercy, he asked her, what about people who disagreed with her vision. Then standing in the ashes of her throne room which she destroyed. In a city of dead women and children which she incinerated she asked him to trust her vision because she knew what was right.
Did he do his duty to the Kingdom and slay his love. Or did he betray his duty to save his family.
The parallel with Ned, was betrayal of duty to save his family and his daughters in particular. He betrayed his duty to Robert and the realm to protect them.
In the past Jon had chosen duty over love. (Unlike Rob). He chose the Nights Watch for a start. He chose the Nights Watch over Ygritte.
So was this the time he chose love over duty. Family over honor. Like Ned. Despite what Sansa said about being Smarter than Ned.
Or did he choose duty to the realm over his love for Daenerys? I have a hard time believing this as he’d rejected her several times already once he found out she was his Aunt. His defense of Daenerys to Tyrion was firmly routed in his duty to her as the Queen he’d chosen.
I think Aemon had the right of it. Love is the death of duty.
It was for Ned. It was for Rob. And ultimately i think it was for Jon.
If the message was supposed to be duty is the death of love then they should have had Jon reconcile himself with being nephew and lover - after the Tygaryen fashion before the final Throne room scene.
I guess the only way to know for sure will be to read the books. - unless George rights that scene from Daenerys’ view point.
The books will end the same but with more involved and explained characters. Bran was always going to be King he was chosen a thousand years ago; everything and everyone where exactly where and what they where supposed to be.. Bran knew what he was doing he saw and see;s everything. Jon went to the place he wished to be and is much safer there. The only thing the show did was rush things a little at the end but the ending was agreed by GRRM and D&D.

@@theviralvloggers794 Exactly.
The books will have dialogs and hopefully we won't have to speculate about the "meat" we might have missed with the show.
Brans ending was in the very first pilot. A raven was the first to land on the thrown and the last on it. F..k the thrown even turned into a raven. ruclips.net/video/hhqRmcsWqac/видео.html
That's a bit of a head-slapper, they've told us from the start. For reals.
Tj Friedgen Nice metaphor. Yes I do believe this works with the kind of symbolism GRRM likes
Great video. I love how you mirrored the Ned scenes and the Jon scenes. Super cool. To the True King Jon Snow!
Terrific work! I thought that I had already cried enough but you made me go to de next level. Greetings from Brazil
This is amazing! Simply ... amazing... thank you so much for this. Great and moving depiction of an incredible journey of a man who needed no crown to have people bow their heads and swear their swords to his cause, just because his cause was that of mercy.

Absolutely brilliant and stunning! Amazing tribute to Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen. Well done! 👍👍 It makes me appreciate it Johnny boy even more!
Astounding video, Thank You. I miss Game of Thrones.
These are some of the most amazing edits ive ever seen. It is honestly a shame you have 37k subs only. Deserve 100's of thousands if not millions. Goosebumps on every video ive watched so far.
Dude, amazing tribute.
Absolutely brilliant, when the clips r put together as masterfully as this, then we can appreciate that the ending for Jon, even though it feels like it could have been better, was probably the best one as he was always 'the shield that guards the realms of men'. He sacrificed his love and his happiness for the greater good of the people. Jon Snow aka Aegon Targaeryan. The white wolf, without a doubt the bravest and most honourable charachter on the show alongside his uncle, Ned Stark. His fighting was the best I saw across the entire show.
Gracias por esto ❤
Love your edits! can't wait to see your BloodMoon edits!
Absolutely amazing edit🔥I just realised Ned was supposed to go to the nights watch and in the end Jon did😭

Makes me want to hate Tyrion and Bran even MORE!
same here
The line that you dont look like your father is very telling. In the books Arya and Jon are the ones who look like Ned. It's one of the reasons Caitlyn hated Jon so much. Rob, who was the Winterfell heir, looked more like a Tully.
@@tsmith8082 Definitely in the books as well. If you reread the first book they explain it. In the show rob looks a lot more like ned in the books he looks nothing like him. He has red hair and a joyous constitution. That's one of the reasons why Arya and Jon are so close. Arya has wolf blood, and even Ned exclaims at how much she reminds him of Lyanna.
Thank you. Loved it. For me the story was Jon’s
Our True King 👑
I know season 8 is over and D&D arent remaking them, BUT I would REALLY love to see a fleshed out season with jon ending up on the iron throne
A DRAGON raised by the WOLF ... ( blood of dragon and unity of wolf ) 🔥🔥🔥
2:08 oh god....beautiful D: :/
This video is better written then S8 👏👏👏
That foreshadow from maester Aemon is crazzyyyy. "Sometimes duty is the death of love"
"Did you ever wonder why the men of the Night's Watch take no wives and father no children?" Maester Aemon asks Jon. "So they will not love. Love is the death of duty." Jon remembered it because it meant so much to him. At the time he was torn between leaving the Night's Watch to help Robb. The choice Jon makes between his brother and his honor will haunt him for the rest of his life. Now, he is torn once again between doing his duty (protecting Westeros) or following his heart and staying with the woman he loves. Jon doesn't think about killing Dany until Tyrion mentions his "sisters" would not be safe. The biggest and hardest decision Jon had to make was one that he had made a thousands times before. By killing Dany, Jon has to give up on love to do his duty to the Kingdom but he also must ignore his duty to his Queen to protect his family. Tyrion turned Aemon's statement around, saying "duty is the death of love." You cannot have both. Love and duty has been a core theme throughout Game of Thrones.
Dude I was taking a sip when I read this and I realized what you were saying and choked on my drink... that’s crazy. Still hate the ending tho 😂
@@land0n592 We all hated the ended because it took Martin years to build character arcs and D&D destroyed them in 90 minutes. It's a shame
@@lisas3545 Yes it was rushed in the last few seasons but I still like the ending. I don't think D&D destroyed the series (we need to be more mature and not behave like little children) and without them we wouldn't have the TV adaptation and without them not many people would be aware of the books (tv shows/movie adaptations are unfortunately more well known then the books themselves).
@@jurassicpark1fan920 I do not agree that people are being immature or behaving like children. Keep in mind that millions of people invested a lot of their time and money to watch this show and the least D&D could have done is give everyone a ending that made sense, that was believable. The main characters became the secondary characters. The foreshadowing was not to tease us but to deceive us. No one wants shock and awe in the end. We want a story that makes sense and one we can be satisfied with. They should have known taking a iconic character like Dany and turning her mad in episode 5 is cheating everyone. By the end, I couldn't stand the Starks or Tyrion. I felt more sorry for Drogon than I did Jon or Dany -that's how detached I was. I felt some pity for evil Cersei, while questioning Jamie's character arc. And Bran..I mean, WTH??!!
Second I just want to watch it now
me too
Damn all feels
I'm torn as whether to refer to him as Jon or Aegon. His mother, Lyanna, called him Aegon, so I guess I will, too. My fan fiction was for everyone in the show to learn that he was their true king all along. The king they chose. Hopefully that's contained in the book Sam presented at the end.
Nice
GOT showed so much magic and awesome stuff but left it all hanging witch to me as I see things now such a let down for a show I shared my life with for they say nine years all together not to mention all the time it took me to read the books first in a way I'm heart broken 🍃 but still 🍃loved 🍃the ride 🍃🥀GRRM
