It shares the gradual star system (if you use it up too early, someone is not attacking) from scarlet grace ambitions but at least you can explore. Still not really into the presentation of cutscenes as it feels like a mobile game and not that interesting Even if I got on mobile. The overworld looks lazy too; seems they borrowed a lot from scarlet, which constantly goes on sale for $10. At least there's an easy mode nowadays though I got lost.
The strength of this game, and it's predecessor, is in the combat. Once you fully understand it, it's probably the most engaging combat system in a JRPG I've ever played.
@Hexaderp why are there always these exaggerations, like with grandia? You pretty much have to let your party cook for gradual gains unless in a formation that adds/reduces star costs of moves, and exploit poison or countering weak enemies so they don't get a turn. Lots of games have fun battle systems (megaman battle network for example, breath of fire 3 dragon genes, or suikoden dueling, fast party/unites and wars) without needing to be on a holy grail.
Awe man, another JRPG to add to my wishlist.
I came here to check if I want it and 0:46 run-summon-takes hit-keeps summoning is so weird?
What a weird game. The graphics are looking pretty good for switch.
Gameplay battle look a like last of remnants
I'm confused, how are you playing it in English? The Japanese demo doesn't seem to have eng subs. There's nothing in the NA eshop either
Australian e-shop
It should be in the NA shops at midnight
Démo non disponible en France
Gonna pass on this one

If it wasn't for the novel base storytelling, I would be interested in getting the game. I do not like that & like my 3d movements for storytelling.
