I love how Carrie is so excited throughout the whole video, running around and smiling all the time, you can tell she really loves her job and it made me feel proud of her for achieving her dream 😌
"The wondrous stage of Les Mis" is right. It looks so dull, grey, and small in this video under general house flood lighting. But I warn all of you to brace yourselves for how stunningly all of this is transformed via the magic of theatre and the ingenious creatives who brought all to life in 1985 and continues to thrill to this day The current Broadway production ruined it all. Feel lucky to be one of the many who have seen the original production. The current London production at the Queens is the very last and the best of the wonderful, spectacular original productions. I've seen it 30 times and am itching to fly to London to see it at least one more time.
the current broadway production is actually a retooling they did for the 25th anniversary with new sets and backgrounds. The music was re-arranged as well to have a smaller orchestra
Seen both the original production on Broadway and new tour in 2013 and agree the new tour even though stunning has nothing on the original iconic staging. It’s massive and was thrilled by the revolve
God I adore this woman. She could really become one of those theatre-y people who does tv presenting as well (i.e. Michael Ball etc), RUclips has obviously made her completely comfortable with cameras
I had no idea that the supporting cast is also part of the group scenes when their character isn't on. I know it's practical, but it seems like a lot of work! :)
Carrie was my Eponine when I saw Les Mis in London last summer. She was a fantastic Eponine. I still cannot believe I was in this theatre living a dream. Seeing the show in the West End was the first time I saw the stage show professionally. It is perfectly understandable why the show is as successful as it is
I saw it on July 30th that summer. It was not just Carrie I was impressed with. It was the entire cast that I was impressed with especially when I saw a understudy as Valjean. Les Mis is as successful as it is because it is Les Mis. The whole story, powerful emotional nature of the songs, and those just incredible characters
Oh wow, Carrie, you are literally living my dream! You make a fantastic Eponine and I hope that I can see you again before the cast change:') Keep up the spectacular work! (And well done of learning all those numbers!;))
I went to see Les Mis on February 3rd for my 18th Birthday and it was phenomenal... To the point where I am going back to see it again in May....I can't wait! x
I saw thw show last week and it was one of the most amazing things I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing, and Carrie did an absolutely fantastic job as Eponine :D
0:01 I've Seen Boublil And Schonberg And Sir Cameron Mackintosh's Les Miserables The Original West End Smash Hit Musical At London's Queen's Theatre In London's West End Back In February 2018 Just Before Tokyo Koyto And Osaka Japan And Thomas Land And Universal Studios Japan And Tokyo Disneyland Resort Holiday Megatrip On March/April 2018 And It Was Huge Big Super Awesome Longest Running West End Musical Ever Made. Thanks Mate. X
I cannot believe I saw Les Mis in the West End during July 30, 2015. I had an understudy as Jean Valjean (Adam Bayjou). As far as Eponine goes, Carrie was my Eponine. I have no words to describe what that entire experience. Just by seeing by the theatre, buying souvenirs, and getting in my seats (which was 9 rows back from the stage) was so surreal that my dream was happening. Just by hearing the first note, I knew it was going to be more than expected. The cast, the staging and the orchestra was more than expected.
That is a lot of numbers to remember in a lot of sentences! Yeh, I know , practice, practice practice. I can do that with lines. But with the numbers she had to remember that's like how many numbers there is in pi... yes impossible. But, I just... that's just.. a lot of numbers!
I saw it last night so watching this video now is so so cool! Carrie and the entire cast were just incredible, I am definitely a huge Les Mis fan now :D
0:01 Carrie Hope Fletcher Also Played The Role Of Cinderella From Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella At London's Wonderful Gillian Lynne Theatre Back In 2021. Awesome. Thanks A Lot Mate. X❤😂😅😂😅😂😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
It's so exciting cos I just saw you perform- how are you so amazing, and now I know what it's like backstage! Week! How do you cope with all the excitement
I saw this show in queens theatre in may and I really want to see it again but cant pay again as it cost me like 200 pounds they were selling them in the theatre but I never bought one however I live about 4 hours from London so its not like i can go and get one, does anyone no where I can buy thr dvd??
I watched the show on august 22nd's matinee and I come from Peru. My flight for coming back to my country was that day too. Feel lucky that you travelled just 4 hours hahahaha It was a day and a half for me hahahaha
The NY production of Phantom is the longest running show on Broadway. Les Miz is the longest running show in London's West End history with Phantom so far is the 2nd longest running show in West End History.
Eponine isn't a whore I'm afraid. Carrie, and others, play lots of different parts in the chorus until their main characters come on later in the show.
*round of applause for remembering all those numbers*
I love how Carrie is so excited throughout the whole video, running around and smiling all the time, you can tell she really loves her job and it made me feel proud of her for achieving her dream 😌
Elena Ferrera she's so adorable! I would be exited too if I was ever in Les Miserables, it's such a dream:) I can't sing though lol
Elena Ferrera She knows her way around.
Ironic that the clip of Eponine singing isn't actually Carrie...
I believe its the 2009/2010 cast as that is Nancy Sullivan... :D
It must have taken Carrie ages to memorise all those facts about les mis! but it is an amazing show and it is no wonder it has been this successful

I SAW HER PLAY EPONIE, SHE HAS A FANTASTC VOICE!!!!!!!!!
God I adore this woman. She could really become one of those theatre-y people who does tv presenting as well (i.e. Michael Ball etc), RUclips has obviously made her completely comfortable with cameras
i love how passionate she is about it. this is how i feel about Les Mis
Wow, how did you remember all those numbers!? :).
I know for sure I wouldn't be able to remember all of them. Love how passionate she is about her job.
Just the same way I remember all my lines and lyrics I guess! :) xxx
Lyrics/words I can do but numbers?! That's like a whole different ball game... *Thinks of the lottery balls* :). Well done to you :). x
someone probably was holding a massive board behind the camera... thats alot of numbers :D
I had no idea that the supporting cast is also part of the group scenes when their character isn't on. I know it's practical, but it seems like a lot of work! :)

I wish they'd played a clip of Carrie singing, I really want to see this show.
+MaddyFangirlsALot that wasn't carrie, i'm not sure who it was though...
+MaddyFangirlsALot yeah, it does sound and look a bit like her cx
+Maddie Kate I think it's Debbie Gibson. She American and was very big in the 90s.
+Anna Cairns Okay, thank you!
+Anna Cairns nope the eponine singing on my own is nancy sullivan
Couldn't have picked a better person to show the bts! Love Carrie Hope Fletcher.
She's so adorable.
Oh wow, Carrie, you are literally living my dream! You make a fantastic Eponine and I hope that I can see you again before the cast change:')

I saw this last year, in the end of summer I loved the show and movie, I have even sang the songs.
I really want to see it again. January 11th I saw it and it was phenomenal, you could easily see why it's the longest running in the West End.
I love this thank you for doing this. Honestly, I'm out of words with how grateful I am.
I saw it last night so watching this video now is so so cool! Carrie and the entire cast were just incredible, I am definitely a huge Les Mis fan now :D

Lol classy calling them "whores".
You could have said "prostitues" xD
i love this musical tho. I'm hoping i can see it on stage next year!
Zack Thé Wolf they're credited as whores so that's probably why she said that
I love how I know Carey from Dan is not on fire XD
Am I the only one that's here after she announced that she got fantine
I have the dress she's wearing haha it's from top shop

+Laura Sings Try www.theatrepeople.com. Got mine there and very cheap.
will you be preforming in the 4th of january
🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹👍
Is the Eponine who we see sing Nancy Sullivan?
this is the worlds longest running musical is it? i thought that was phantom
Second longest - Mousetrap is the longest.
multifandom Fanfiction Mousetrap isn't a musical. ;) It's a play! Phantom of the Opera is one year younger than Les Misérables!
The NY production of Phantom is the longest running show on Broadway. Les Miz is the longest running show in London's West End history with Phantom so far is the 2nd longest running show in West End History.
wow she good at math
CARRIE!
I have that dress.... Never thought of wearing it with leggings before though
Wow. XD I cried from happiness when Carrie said they made Eponine a whore in the musical. Just as they do in the brick.
Eponine isn't a whore I'm afraid. Carrie, and others, play lots of different parts in the chorus until their main characters come on later in the show.
Elizabeth Leaf I wasn't disputing that, it's just that you got all excited about something that wasn't mentioned in the play.
Elizabeth Leaf she's not as eponine when she does lovely ladies, she has a brown wig on through any non-eponine parts shes in
In which country is this show..may I know
London, England
+Ed Backhouse ..Thanks 4 lettin' me know..I'll see if possible..If only I visit England
