I believe it has something to do with her intention, with why she is singing in the first place. She has a deep source of connection with music that brings her immense joy, and she has said she sings to being more joy into the world. Alma Deutscher has the same affect on people and has the same connection and intention. We feel that joyous intention and connection and it reminds us of our own joyous connection we may have forgotten or blocked. These two young ladies are such a blessing to the world! May we reciprocate and allow our own connection to joy, to some small or large talent shine forth, simply to bring more beauty and love into this world. It could be a habit of letting people turn onto the road from the opposing direction of the traffic, or picking up trash along the road to make more beauty... when it is done with a deep connection of joy, it inspires that in others. Listening to this song in the car for the first time. I was not impressed, and my first thoughts were "OH NO! This will not do great w the Super Fans....." But as with every other ANGELina song or cover, It gets better everytime I listen to it. ;) ANGELina's simplifyed yet profound arrangements on songs, are groundsetting in so many ways. IMO she brings forth the lyrics in ways no one else's done prior. She reveals the "soul of the song", it's core, so to speak. And shows us (again) new levels. ALSO IMO, this song, will stand out, not only musically, but lyrically. For me, it can also be seen as a kick to the music industry and the huge corporate machines that shows like AGT are. Industrial bodies that leaves singers that sign with them, very restricted on any level. I am SO GLAD ANGELina's team, her family, are thinking ahead, and has kept her independence and her ability to continue evolving. SO NOW it is UP to US, her REAL SUPER FANS to support ANGELina's musical journey! Her steps in the musical industry, will be showing the way for others as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they (ANGELina's team) makes a label that will be able to sign young musicians to help them on their journey It would be totally in her spirit, as she already as a 7-8 yr old gave all of her winnings on AGT to childrens charity, and have raised conciousness regarding childrens conditions around the world.
Angelina's voice and performance is absolutely stunning, but she is actually performing Sara Bareilles' 2013 cover of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (both music and vocals). That said I think Angelina sings it better than Sara which is quite a feat! Angelina is clearly the top talent on AGT.

Sorry to hear you're still suffering from the snow, but that's winter for you. We had our usual day's worth of snow out here in Van a couple of weeks ago, and now we're back to the gloomy, rainy days. But at least you don't have to shovel the rain. I've been following your journey with our angel as you've been working your way through Rusty's list and enjoying it immensely. I went down a similar path a couple of years ago, and listening to them all over again is always a treat. That's the thing about Angelina - her songs never get old, and listening to one for the hundredth time is just as good as it was the first. Each time you pick out something new that you missed the last time. A little phrase or a quick run around a note that leaves you wondering all over again how she does it. I'm a Norwegian, grown up as far up north as you can come on the mainland Europe. Now I live in mid Norway and have NO snow what soever this winter, and I really really miss it. It's dark, slippery and wet outside, I would rather shuffle snow than walking around in this wet darkness.

I grew up in central Canada, where 10 to 15 meters of snow over the course of a winter was quite common, as well as long stretches of -20C or colder temperatures that would go on for weeks at a time. I have some fond memories of those winters, and especially of the stillness - that was the best. Nothing can beat the feeling of going for a hike in the woods on a clear, moonlit night the day after a fresh snowfall. I used to trap and hunt when I was a young man, so that was like my back yard. But in my early twenties I went for a visit to the west coast of Canada, fell in love with the country and people there, and have stayed ever since. If I want snow, Grouse Mountain is a 20 minute drive from my house. A short climb and I'm up to my neck in snow. So it's not really that I hate snow, it's just that I don't want to have to slog through it and shovel it for five months out of the year. I'd much rather deal with the damp of Vancouver.

I am very disappointed. With this kind of performance and she didn't win. Angelina proved her value though. She is the winner of our hearts. That's the important achievement!!!!!
I consider Angelina as the winner, but rumours are spreading that one of the contestants have leaked the result and that Angelina ended up in 7th place. If this is true, I am deeply disappointed and will never take the credibility of this show serious ever again. Yes, there is without any doubt a lot of talent in this show, but comparing every contestant with each other, putting Angelina in 7th place is a disgrace to what music and talent is all about. And that is my opinion putting it as diplomatic as I’m able to in this context.
So difficult to separate the contestants in a show like this, as it is all from dancing, stand-up, magicians, circus acts, singers and more. A big chance to showcase her talent to the world of music and boy (girl), hasn't she made the most out of that one. Angelina is one of the greatest musical talents of our generation and if she decides to fulfill that talent, the history of music will have to make plenty room for this young genius.
@@eythor1313 I do agree that in this show the width of talents make it slightly more complex to separate one performance from another, but it is still my opinion that the quality of Angelinas song arrangements, her outstanding vocal resource, etc+, putting her in 7th place does not make me impressed with the ones making that decision. At my best I could at least say I tried being objective, but the truth is, she is the only reason I watched the show in the first place. My subjective but relentless opinion is that she deserved to win. But I am so glad that she got the chance to show her talent to the world, as you said it, she is one of the greatest musical talents we have seen in a long time. I believe, and anyone is welcome to let me know if I have something incorrect here, that her not winning AGT was not due to the super fans. It seems that it had something to do with not signing a contract with AGT for producing her music. The main reason she was on AGT was for the American public to learn about her. So difficult to separate the contestants in a show like this, as it is all from dancing, stand-up, magicians, circus acts, singers and more.
A big chance to showcase her talent to the world of music and boy (girl), hasn't she made the most out of that one.
Angelina is one of the greatest musical talents of our generation and if she decides to fulfill that talent, the history of music will have to make plenty room for this young genius.

@@eythor1313 I do agree that in this show the width of talents make it slightly more complex to separate one performance from another, but it is still my opinion that the quality of Angelinas song arrangements, her outstanding vocal resource, etc+, putting her in 7th place does not make me impressed with the ones making that decision.
At my best I could at least say I tried being objective, but the truth is, she is the only reason I watched the show in the first place. My subjective but relentless opinion is that she deserved to win.
But I am so glad that she got the chance to show her talent to the world, as you said it, she is one of the greatest musical talents we have seen in a long time.

@@hlborgen I wouldn't argue with you on any of this. I'm not at all interested in the other talent categories in the final and the opera thing is, although pretty impressing, just a lot of volume in my ears. Won't be using any of my time watching that lot...lol.

As amazing as it was, and as amazing as Bohemian Rhapsody was, the supposed "super fans" didn't think she even deserved being in the top 5, if the leaks are to be believed. If so, I'm done with AGT, because that means those judging talent, have no idea what talent is.

I believe, and anyone is welcome to let me know if I have something incorrect here, that her not winning AGT was not due to the super fans. It seems that it had something to do with not signing a contract with AGT for producing her music.

So it was AGT which gave Angelina the exposure for Americans to become aware of her amazing talent and personality!

On second thought, AGT the Champions is a pre-recorded CIRCUS where the only one who does not belong there is ANGELINA ASTAR Jordan. Angelina is just plain old TOO GOOD, PURE, and TALENTED to fit into Simon's little show or his talent stable. I know, Angelina says she REALLY wants to win AGT the Champions but what 14 years old wouldn't want to win? Angelina is just about 10 sizes too BIG for such a talent format. Angelina is my 100% favorite act on the show bar none, HOWEVER, I HOPE Marcelito wins as his act is more CIRCUS/GIMMICK like and that SIMON will not get ANY of the credit when ANGELINA ASTAR Jordan becomes a REAL WORLDWIDE SUPERSTAR!!!!
