There is something about Daughtry that holds a special place in my heart. Their music has so much sentimental value to me, and they’re hideously underrated. This is real music, not what’s out nowadays. It’s simple, but it means something. It has soul. Something that music that you hear on the radio today doesn’t have. There are certain things you can’t put a price on.

I remember hearing him for the first time on American Idol. He has an amazing powerful voice with lots of soul. One of the best performers of our time :) Saw him n NY a few years ago. He opened for another of my favorite male vocalists, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback. A blow out show, awesome pair.

If anything, he was a little overplayed (not that there was anything wrong with him, they do that with every song) probably the most played artist during this era but any time I think of my drives to my old job and college in 2007, I think of Daughtry because they played him so many times. IM GOING HOME was the perfect anthem because I was always going home and could count on hearing it 3 times lol

RIP Hannah Daughtry
I can't wait till it Feels Like Tonight! I will be at the concert in Waukegan, IL. on 9/11. Plus, I will be meeting Daughtry and his band before the show! So, I can't wait to Feel Like Tonight. I did have tickets to see Daughtry in March of 2020. But wasn't able to go. I was in the hospital after the second surgery, I had and wasn't able to walk. The doctors told me I wasn't going to be able to walk again. Well. One and ah half years later. I am walking, with ah stagger, but unassisted, by cane, chair or walker. So, I cannot describe the emotions I will have on 9/11. A tragic day in itself. I am just excited about being able to walk again. We all have it in us. Use your strength of your mind, your body and soul!

Wow where have I been. I just really found this guy last night. I agree with Jerry Bordadora and more, this guy is the real thing. He may not have that all American good looks that seem to be the main stream idea of a singer, but what he has in his heart and in his vocals is way more beautiful then cometic looks.
