Is the pro charger on Hercules a belt driven deal or is it driven like some of the flash new pro mods....I don’t know what it is called, but looks to be maybe shaft driven directly in front of the harmonic balancer?
Its called Gear Driven, there is a set of gears inside a housing that the crank spins and a coupler connects it to the blower which spins the blower. Do some research on a "Gear Drive" for a pro-charger if you want more in depth info!
Cold Hearted Racing Channel thanks, interesting, one complaint about belt driven max effort centrifugal blown cars was belt slip so this must take care of that also the way it would make power as opposed to a turbo car must be great for the street and 8th mile stuff, I imagine.

What are you guys gonna run for a carb or are you switching to efi? I am looking into possibly going back to a blow thru carb and putting my efi aside for now. I know you got that IRD for sale, I wish it was 2500/2700 e85 capable. I am also wondering how you guys like your RPM performance digital dash and do you use their ecu?
We run a APD all billet Carb that IRD went through and set up for us, also the RPM logger and dash is a great system for the money. It provides good data and is quite a bit cheaper than a racepak.

I love it, his new setup looks bad-ass. He has enough power to compete with NPK with that setup but knowing Brian he will be able to get it down the street also.
