Exactly! He most def type guy to still leave a negative review on his page AFTER the repair & not even appaericate that. This man went above & beyond for a complete jerk & stranger at that! Crazy..he has wife n 3 kids. I'd never do anything for free & that lady's light bulb..wouldnt even be worth the time/effort unless she paid him $30 for job + light bulb cost. I made my initial commentary part way through the video. I am now nearing the end. I am just going to say it. I am physically nauseated by the behavior and complete lack of decorum of the individual you are graciously supporting. Based on the body language and how he spoke to you, he has literally ZERO respect for you. He knowingly put you in that situation where you had way more to fix than initially discussed. I promise you that. He knew your good nature and knew you wouldn't walk away. Simple as that. Guess what? Now you are on the hook for every future issue this guy has with that Cadillac. Giving that dude $20 bucks was the equivalent of giving your highschool bully money after he punks you. I think this is harsh to hear but it's gut wrenching watching you shake hands with that dude and you being emotionally drained by the end of it. There is a difference between being nice and standing up for yourself dude. Him saying something about you doing too much and taking his keys was your opportunity to stand up for yourself. He was testing you. Should have told him to go "f" himself for the total lack of respect.
Agree, you cant be helping pieces of shit like that. Help people on need. Definitely this is the kind of costumer that needs to be charge more to be able to help more people in need.

Don't let this bad experience get to you, some people ate just ungrateful and want everything you're willing to give.
i just want to believe the part where Matt gave him 20$ was a test of good faith to see if the customer would refuse it or accept it ... i know Matt probably makes alot of money from the views lately hence he feels bad charging customers for small stuff since he is making "content" from their repairs but keep in mind people are interested in your stuff because of your personality so you earned that money but labor is labor and you gotta charge for that no matter how rich you are
You sounding like me giving free work to help people out. It definitely has a time and place I feel some people are just ungrateful and it sucks when your trying to genuinely help them.
Bro you got a good soul, and understand we know people are struggling but damn dude was totally unappreciative of your work. Sucks but you are a gem bro!
In my experience when a battery won't jump after multiple sources, there is a dead short in them. Even a charge won't take. I'd be surprised if the car started.
Gotta stop being so generous. At least until the right, deserving person comes around. Sadly those a rare to find these days. Also always stick with ur gut feeling.
Don’t sell yourself short Parker. I know you’re helping bring a good guy but someone who 💩 talks you gets everything done free with little appreciation is awful. But Karma will come back your way. Don’t let a bad apple 🍎 ruin the rest of the bunch. Some just don’t know what entails being a mechanic 🧑🔧. It’s either one and done or opening a can of worms. Live & learning I guess
Matt, I will reserve my thoughts about old dude and keep them to myself. Instead I will suggest something I started doing the last few years and that's letting people know you don't use customer supplied parts. I made that change because I got tired of people going to ChinaBay and ordering the cheapest part they could possibly find or handing me an LKQ / Pick A Part or other used part that they found somewhere and then expect me to warranty it when that new cheap part fails on them 2 or 3 months later. That's assuming the part didn't show up DOA straight from the box. I get it times are tough for everyone these days but that doesn't mean us as techs should have to suffer because of it and expected to do the same job twice because that cheap part failed. So I made it a point that I only use parts I ordered and show the customers the part receipts so they can see I didn't mark up the part costs any.. I found most people don't even really care about that all they care is that their car gets fixed.
Listen y’all!!! Sometimes it easier to suck it up and fix a car you said at first you would fix and then be done with it and have the customer be happpy and take his words back! This video shows that he sucked up his pride and he originally did want to help the guy. The sooner the cars fixed the sooner he can be rid of the guy!
I always use to work on people cars to help people in need. But sometimes certain people ain’t worth helping. Because comes to a point people take advantage of you
I have the same problem as you Matt. I want to fix everyone's car but I know I can't do that. I watched this all the way through and it was seriously making me mad every time that customer came on the screen. He obviously had ZERO respect for you or anything you were doing for him. He doesn't deserve a break or anything for free, much less you giving him money or tools to help him after what you already did. Much respect for you and what you do, but DO NOT talk to this customer or bring this car back on your channel!! So furious at this guys attitude the whole time!
Only go out your way for paying costumers, people should be calling you for your good work not your good hart, in this world now a days if you give a little they will take a lot..
another great video! great content! you should increase the audio level in your videos, too low. if i set volume to hear you it blasts on ads and program breaks.

While I truly understand why you took it to charge it and complete the job confirming that everything you installed was working to your standards or best they could be with used parts. He might of also said I'll take care of it and done something else. While to me I'd said thanks you didn't have to do all that but I appreciate it. He seemed like everything was an inconvenience and there was nothing you could do to make a customer like that happy
Being kind is to be done for those grateful or not demanding. Otherwise, kick rocks.
You’re a boss. Don’t let it discourage you. Because of the way you move, you will have a lot more fortune than misfortune. Your service, selflessness, and sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
Dude, you let that guy know where you live? Thats crazy.
Parker needs to grow a pair of steel balls...he's too kind. Don't let people run over you and use you brother
This the type of guy who ruins it for other people who could possibly get free service.. now if this mechanic stop doing free service yall know who caused it.. that guy is ungrateful
Alot of us have been watching for a while so we feel we know you more than we do and don't want you to get taking advantage cause we've seen what a good person you are. Your a better man than me. I hope the best comes in your future cause you deserve it.
Every CTS is a vortex of endless problems .... quitting "bad attitude" customers without arguing is easy ... make your next availability a 2 er 3 month wait ...
Paying it forward.
One million steps ahead of any human being on this earth.
You just opened a can of worms !!!!!!!
You’re such an honest and compassionate mechanic. Not many like you left let me tell ya. Nowadays it’s $165 an hour labor for simply looking at a car. God will less you with abundance.
Unfortunately, not everyone is grateful...but in our eyes ur the man...✌️
You're better than most. He wouldn't have gotten my time
I honestly didn't understand a word dude said. Matt, you are the man.💙
Some might say he never deserved free service and parts but you operating from love which i respect. I hope all that energy comes back to you 10 folds to bless you and your family. I truly admire what you do 1luv my g🙏🏽
Bigger man than me, I couldn’t have helped anyone this much after the disrespect! I hope this comes back around to you 10 fold in the best way possible.
You have a good soul Matt, you well be blessed many times over. Iam glad there is still honest mechanics out there. Glad to have ya in my city!!
You’re too nice. I have all kinds of respect for you and zero for that sketchy dude. His life isn’t going to get better, only worse. Yours is on the right path. Keep going.
I avoid people like him when it comes to repairs. It's not worth the hassle one bit.
still calling him a gentleman when he showed you the nastiest vibe really shows your colours i hope you stay blessed
Ya, there is no way
Some people be strange, nothing gonna fix that. When I run across them I just start playin Pink Floyd in my mind. It's good, we good, lol. "Ticking away, the moments that make up a dull day"! Remain stoic, Matt. Peace out.
Your to kind man. It’s amazing that your such a good dude but this guy and other people like him see your a good dude. So they will walk all over you and not care then talk mad shit about you.
You are too kind. I woulda noped outta there, lol.
Kindness goes a long way but You were way to nice to that guy, He completely took advantage on your kindness, granted if somebody is fixing my car for free id be right there along side helping you fix it not giving you cr”p about it, Nonetheless Great Videos Man Keep It coming!!!
Nah man. Like i commented on Facebook. That dudes a chump
He’s definitely “using” you bro. Don’t deal with people like him.
Some people are beyond helping bro and he could have mental issues or something. People that are able to think logically would've been VERY grateful for you time, money, energy, and compassion. I really wish we had someone like you in Milwaukee. Awesome job bro, karma will definitely reward you.
Parker some ppl are not meant to be in our lives he is one of those ppl that doesn’t belong in yours asking for tools knowing there gonna put the battery and doesn’t bring any tools the reason they didn’t bring any tools is because they don’t own any they waste there money on other nonsense crap and that dude is down bad because of his lifestyle
I understand you are trying to help but people like that don’t deserve your help. Bashing your name when you do so much for the community is unacceptable.
Matt your selling yourself short sometimes being nice we get takin advantage of but sometimes we just have to say no. Keep up that great work that guy was a sketchball anyways!
You are way too nice. I woulda told this dude to pound sand. Helping someone every so often in need is always good but work for free. Never. You should be paid for your time/knowledge/experience.
God bless you Parker.
You're too nice, man. We set up 3 different days to meet, never met ya and never talked trash online or off. I figure there are people out thrre that need your help more than I do and moved on. Thats really not a good reason to say anything nasty on or off. I still recommend you anytime someone asks me if I know a mechanic. Don't let this bad experience get to you, some people ate just ungrateful and want everything you're willing to give.
The comment of "one cake, one chef" 😂
I was taught "one cylinder, one problem, two cylinders, two problems and so forth. 😅
i just want to believe the part where Matt gave him 20$ was a test of good faith to see if the customer would refuse it or accept it ... i know Matt probably makes alot of money from the views lately hence he feels bad charging customers for small stuff since he is making "content" from their repairs but keep in mind people are interested in your stuff because of your personality so you earned that money but labor is labor and you gotta charge for that no matter how rich you are
You sounding like me giving free work to help people out. It definitely has a time and place I feel some people are just ungrateful and it sucks when your trying to genuinely help them.
Bro you got a good soul, and understand we know people are struggling but damn dude was totally unappreciative of your work. Sucks but you are a gem bro!
I like that you tried to help everyone but this one was not it.
"Ok, here's the deal..." tshirt is a must. Mechanics shirt would be dope.
Man, you have way more patience with people than I would have. I dont know how you do it.
Good Man !
Some people are just inconsiderate. Never grateful.
More power to you brother.
This guy is way to nice to his customers but he does know what he’s doing.
With guys like him, I would have a friend follow me to watch my back because I'm paranoid like that and always have my strap on me.
If they give you the part it's their decision they did that.
Man some days you get the bear, some days the bear gets you. You will eventually learn it is ok to walk away.
People make choice and need to man up to those choices. Now braking one's rear glasses that's not cool.
When Matthew's wife asks him where he want's to eat, he says " here's the deal" lol
NOW because of YOU GIVING OUT FREE BEES NOW you got MORE WORK😱 WAIT UNTIL YOU FIND OUT WHAT’s going before you feel Guilty 👀
Lol dude needed subtitles
Parker blessed he will definitely make his money back w/ all the subscribers etc.. good stuff Parker be safe trust nobody & be humble
another great video!
great content!
you should increase the audio level in your videos, too low. if i set volume to hear you it blasts on ads and program breaks.
Screw that guy. Worst kind of customer to deal with. Let him go somewhere else. You always gotta be looking to make a buck. Your skills are worth money. Don’t sell yourself short.
You can say you’re a good person, but you’re a clown for that. That dude likely doesn’t have a job and collects government cheques. Don’t do these people favours.
Bro I wish you travel out of state. Id definitely have you work on my car
Need a free tatoo from the place on the road sign, free advertising, lol
You gave him $20 and free labor! You need to find a doctor with a really soft couch. Not a joke. You are OFF in some way.
buddy. sometimes it’s just better to be kind to people, we need to be a lot more open to just doing stuff for the hell of it. that’s what’s particularly frustrating with todays society everyone just thinks that if your kind and go out of your way your fucked up in the head.
I'm 61 and done it all. My head is screwed on right . I've got a clear mind and have be in the industry for 41 years. I know what I'm talking about. The more charity you do the more comfortable they get. Why was this guy not at work. Oh, he gets a government check I'm paying for. I now why he is not at work , drug sales start after dark. The guy was high as a kite. The cursing is real adult. I would not let you around my grandchildren. ❤ Bleeding heart.🍑🧌@@Nehiyawok
@@Nehiyawoku sound like a dude who has his hand out like a female 🫴🏽
And a ratchet and socket!
Some people are simply “takers”
They will drain you of everything if you let them.
You really think that guy didn’t know his car was like that?
I can’t believe he gave them his address… never do that 💩 again
There is a difference between kind and generous and… a MARK
@@erikhernandezzz9272 Yes I'm a taker, really cute. I started working at Hardee's in His borough, N. C. in 1978 at 15.5 years old. Never stopped since. Lay your cards on the table. With a name like yours , are you illegally in my country? Also I was born in Chapel Hill, N.C. 🍑🧌
man you got taken advantage of just for being a good guy. been in that situation its sucks
They 100% deserve the shitty situation they are in. You can’t be nice to everyone. Be nice to good people that are on hard times.
That customer goes through life kicking everyone in the chins
W mans for the people and blessed to make content an have the best prices and customer services in the world probably
There is no way in hell you should be absorbing any of this!
Aye you a really cool and nice dude …you have many blessing come your way
This man one in a million not everybody does that
