Hello, my friend has an M3 preamplifier. It has the same volume controls as the M5. When adjusting the volume, loud clicks are heard. More often, when adjusting the volume, there is great discomfort. Perhaps you have encountered this and could advise how to eliminate it? Thank you.
You are not alone in this :-) I think we just have to live with it. Two of my acquaintances have a similar issue with the M3. They contacted AN UK, but were told that this is normal for regulators of this type, as silver contacts oxidize, etc. In short, it’s not a defect, and they simply advised cleaning the contacts of the volume control potentiometers. Cleaning helped, but unfortunately not for long. Interestingly, the M5 that I showed in the video does not have this issue. The volume adjustment is smooth and without any unpleasant clicks. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas holiday!
Thank you for watching and for your comment! I am not the owner of this system. I’m just recording videos of the systems my acquaintances own. Happy Christmas holidays! 🎄
@@Audio-Salon thanks!! Wishing you a lovely Christmas and happy new year. The j's is what I auditioned in my home so I know they'll work, my wallet will thank me too!
A difficult question… First of all, I didn’t have the opportunity to record this video in higher quality, but in reality, the sound of this vintage system is truly impressive! I previously had a similar system at home with Klangfilm 405 speakers. They sounded incredibly realistic! However, I eventually replaced those speakers with others based on Telefunken field coil 30 cm drivers. I consider these drivers to be among the most "musical." The Audio Note system sounds less natural, but it is more versatile. Thank you for watching and Happy New Year!
I've listened to plenty of speakers and gear, they might look basic but nothing beats the An sound for me. Everyone to their preference right? I kinda like the vintage minimalistic look, just wish for of their integrates ect showed off the valves :)

it sounds like you're recording that reverberant room with directional mics and that means nasty sound being recorded off-axis, why oh why

Nice, only Sogon interconnects are not Level 3 🙂
Yes, that's right! 🙂Thank you for reviewing, and have a wonderful Christmas holiday!
Like interconnect actually matters.
Simply amazing!
Thank you for watching. Merry Christmas!🎄
You are easily pleased.
Have you tried technics sur1000
Unfortunately, I have no experience with this amplifier. Thank you for watching!
Great system, the sound is wow. Is this system for sale?

May I know the room size? I'm currently debating on an e or anj LX but I'm thinking my 5m x 3.7m room might be too small for the e's. Thanks 🙂
The room is slightly over 20 square meters. For your room, I would still recommend the AN-J speakers. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas holiday 🎄

Hello, I would like to ask which system's sound you liked better - this one or this one: ruclips.net/video/5ydoAaK2nw4/видео.html.

Sounds nice, I would change the cabinet on which the equipment is positioned, looks off to me. But thats purely taste ofc.
Thank you for watching! Happy Christmas holidays!🎄
@Audio-Salon you too!
Nice system, but as with so many audiophiles .same old tired genre of music..........
Gear that looks that cheaply made … and is sold so expensive. Must be a good business for some English men.
Thank you for watching, and wishing you a joyful and merry Christmas holiday!

@@SignorFreeze I also enjoy watching the glow of the tubes while listening to music in a dark room. 🙂
A very strange phenomenon for someone like yourself, some of us buy hifi based on how it sounds and not how it looks;)
