For people wondering about the guy drinking beer on stage: it's Blake Harrison who's responsible for noise, synth and
samples. The back story: the airline has failed to deliver PxDx gear for their european tour (they even didn't have any drumsticks!) and thus the band was forced to borrow other bands' instruments in order to play the show (as you can see on video) and poor Blake just drank his beer on stage, cause his setup is pretty unique and couldn't be properly replaced.
+homelessathome that's too bad. I did notice Scott's guitar wasn't too loud either. I know they are always on point though live. They're one of my favorite bands to see.
+homelessathome I think a long time ago there was a story about a similar situation where blake accidentally erased all his samples on his laptop. you ever hear anything about that?

I used to take so much adderall and blast PD while writing term papers in college. I can't listen to them like that anymore, but they are still the best band in the world. \M/
dude, what happened to jr's vocals? he used to have such an ear shattering scream live. now he just sounds kind of tired. sure its probably not good to scream like crazy all the time but late 90's he really went for it and that got me real pumped up. maybe it was just an okay show. not all of them can be amazing. still love pig destroyer and his lyrics are fantastic. much love for one of my favorite bands

its because after all these years he's never properly learned how to use his voice. this is why I would never pay to see them live. the band is great live, Ive listen to them for a long time but vocal performance is always poor.
Also he’s getting older.
Screaming the way he does or did (like when his mike broke and you couldnt really tell) will definitely fuck up your vocal chords over time I'm sure, he doesnt really do the whole condense style thing alot of singers do. So imagine how your throat and voice feels after screaming at and beating your children and grandparents because your food stamp card didn't come in the mail again today and someone called the ol lady and now the wife is missing again (aka at mothers) and probably too scared to come home because she's an over exaggerating drama queen to all her friends and law enforcement... Its very straining on the vocal chords. Just buy a divorce and get a motorcycle man.

Love PD but man this is a little lacklustre compared to their earlier
live shows.
They didn't have their gear at all for this show. It all got lost during the flight, so they had to use other bands gear. Obviously their sound is unique and is hard to replicate on other peoples gear. This is also why Blake is just sitting with a beer doing nothing lol.
