Your Frost build needs the Frozen Pike (easy farm too) my mate runs it and run-v melee's (counts as a stagger which generates Frost) so it auto reloads your wep without switching, and heals 5%.
If I ever optimize the build I’ll do that. Currently I really only use it when I’m lazy and don’t feel like healing. It seems the October update they might update the frost vortex and burn build so I’ll focus on it then.
@@heresmike Fish 15 pike for the blue+purple blueprint each season 😅 It was kinda crazy doing Slime boss though. I was putting up ~1.8-2mil with a finished shrap build(slime is shit for this build though), Jaws 2/3rds complete was doing like 1.5mil and Frost actually topped two runs. (Someone with Outer Space did 2.3mil in a couple for comparison) It was mainly due to being able to proc extra Frost vortexes to stack the DMG. SMG for 1, fish melee every 4+s for the second, SmG again to keep it rolling. That and it sucks up adds so easy 😅
tbh crit x2 is better if you using point detonation + reckless bomber mod, since dmg of unstable bomber goes higher as crit rate goes higher, cdmg can be stacked from substats and other mods instead
I thought the same thing but I believe (still untested as I can’t find a Cr and CD calibration) the extra 16-22% crit damage would be better. Reckless Bomber only gives .5% damage per crit rate. So you lose the 9% crit rate which is 4.5% damage for a 16-22% which I believe can roll on the calibration 10 line. One day I’ll get the mod or someone will sell it to me and I can try.
@@heresmike tried both reckless bomber and the other, reckless bomber really did more better dmg on pve, also with that unstable bomber top, you get extra crit rate so u wont have any problems
icy rain is poopsie garbanzo, i never saw a video for more than 20k dps plus durability is going away fast probably because of the hit rate or something
True. That’s why it’s a good support build or to use the gun as a secondary for the healing mod. I’m hoping during the new PvE scenario frost and burn get some buffs and it can be utilized more.
