They did the WFC series dirty with this game :(. High Moon should never have let this happen. All the models are reused, and the lighting/reflection effects are garbo.
They just wanted to milk it tbh, by making the bayformers playable in Campaign and escalation. The concept was good for multiplayer sure, but the half assed story is a big turn off. Plus they scrapped multiplayer, so this game literally has no value, in no way. You right, this like spitting on WFC and FOC

I didn’t hate this game that much the 2 things I hated the most were the characters design, and the story telling I wish they kept the Designs from Fall Of Cybertron. And I wish they continued exactly where we left off from Fall Of Cybertron instead they went with the bayverse which highly disappointed me

They were originally intended to be set in the same universe, but due to creative differences, the so-called "Aligned Continuity" became so unaligned that Hasbro was forced to divide it into several parallel universes via Ask Vector Prime. To this day, we still don't have a *_true_* continuation of the High Moon games, and unfortunately, it seems unlikely that we ever will.

The mercenaries are basically Decepticons in disguise, which is really a good name for how this game treats them. But tbh, each of the fight on Cybertron is just so empty. Like when Sideswipe and Warpath arrived at the train station, only Bumblebee amd Optimus arrived as backup rather than any normal Autobot soldiers. And when you play as Bruticus, you feel than the number of enemies is just..a lot less than before, you just smash your way while Shockwave is shouting at you. However, I think I like them more than in the movies. Optimus isnt a fucking cold-blooded murderer.

I don't think lighting was the worse problem all the models they made looked bad and the textures
Textures are low rent, way too much models and assets were reused.

Maybe the blast of the tower in the Sea of Rust was so big it launched Grimlock back to where the other DinoBots were.
In fall of cybertron comics it’s said that he was gravely injured but the dinobots were able to save him.
The one thing they improved is that your allies have limited health, giving you an objective. (AHEM FOC Warpath!)
Besides that. Everything sucked. I mean everything. The storyline is kinda great, but pretty short.
