Our son just built a custom B+ Van to use for he & wife's active lifestyle. Like ya'lls! They are HUGE into training & fitness. This video was even helpful to me a 37' Class A motorhome---so take it from there. All the Van info, tho, was Hugely helpful and actually inspiring to DOWNSIZING what we are currently in. THANK YOU!

Hello. Great video. Just a tip, you could use sticky mirror tiles on the inside of that door to give you the benefits of a full length mirror but they are flat and sooo EZ.

Had lots of fun watching this video. Thanks! My Amazon cart just got a little fuller :) Although I hate disposable stuff, I also use the Kirkland face wipes. They are so big that I cut them into quarters for the perfect size. After cutting them I put them in a snack size ziplock bag so they don't dry out. I not only use them camping/backpacking but also at home because they don't use any water like a regular washcloth does. I live in draught stricken Northern California where every drop counts!
Yeah, It's alarming how much water it takes to wash your face in the sink! That's pretty good that you can cut your wipes into quarters. I need the whole thing! Especially at night when I take my eye makeup off.

@@IreneIronTravels Stop by a craft store you can find them there. Cheap and usually packed in 10’s or 20 count. I keep jewelry in them hair ties all kinds of stuff that I can “stuff”into other containers. Take Care Safe Travels ~
I also use facial wipes to remove makeup and have sensitive eyes. I was given a package of Huggies Natural Care sensitive, fragrance free wipes and I like them even better than the pricy facial wipes! They’re relatively cheap at Target (less than $2 for 56, or cheaper yet by the box).

I have the Eufy outdoor camera for my home. I like it a lot. No subscription. I think the biggest downside for you would be there is a "hub", but I think it has a smaller footprint nowadays. It's battery charged, but the battery lasts about 180 days with pretty heavy use, has an alarm on the camera.

This would save battery life when it is daylight. I would like to install them in the underside storage compartments on my super c coach. Nice episode!

Great video and I always learn something from your vids! Thank you! I'd stick with the Wyze cams for outside.. heard mixed reviews on the outside V3 (has some latency issues with detection and requires a RF base station) but I really like the pan cams outside if you can shelter them from the rain. With mine, I just extended the power cord they came with to go outside the house (one is 30' long). Since the Wyze cams are 'USB' powered, a device like you mentioned (the switched USB power outlet) could work to power them too when away from shore power. My pan cams have continued to work year round in -30F temps to 100F. After watching, I'm temped to get the Motion Sensor Closet Light, Tire Repair Kit, Solar Motion Sensor Lights and Motion Sensor Alarm for our 5'er.
Appreciate your input on the Wyze cams. Heard the V3 came out, but haven't checked it out yet. Hopefully the battery operated cams keep getting better.... Thanks for watching!!
Would like to pass on 2 hints that I have picked up from Creativity RV. Try using Garnier Micellar Cleansing water ( Costco off brand I don't like as well) for your face. Instead of cotton pads to clean face with I like to use this brand of wipe. Found on Amazon I found these to be the softest but yet the strongest and can use more than once by rinsing. I know water but hay use it from the Berkey. :-) These are strong enough that you can clean with them.

I found the micellar water to be a bit bulky and the premoistened wipes are just easier. I would like to see the wipe you use, though! We used to watch creativity rv often, she is great. - Chris

Thank you!! We stay away from the cold weather !! We've been in overnights of the high 20's and low 30's, but as long as it heats up during the day you're fine. It is common in the desert winter to be 70 during the day and 30 at night.

We haven't had any crazy situations, but we do turn the cameras on anytime we leave. It just helps to know there is an eye on our home and you can check in anytime!!

To use it, just flip your hair over your head, place the towel over your hair, twist the end of the towel with your strands inside, and loop the twist into the strong elastic loop on the back side of your head. We have not mounted the solar motions lights yet, but a good option I saw from" the global travel couple" (in a Sprinter Mode) with putting magnets on the back of the lights and then just sticking to the van when you get somewhere. I thought it would be nice to be able to move them around and try different things out.
Great video, thanks for the tips guys. Just an FYI, that gel spray will NOT stop a bear. It may be effective against smaller animals such as coyotes and definitely people, but not bears. In reality, the chemical contents of any spray does not stop a bear. What makes bear spray canisters effective is the high velocity spray and spread of the canister. The broad, loud and intensity of the spray scares the bear, not the chemical contents.
@@IreneIronTravels LOL. So do I. Along with living 80% of my time in a Class B for the past 2 years, and a cop for 30 years, I spent many years backpacking across the US. PCT, AT, CDT. Stop by REI, Cabelas or Brass Pro Shop and pick up some bear spray for your hikes. Keep the gel spray for the van and any punk humans that challenge you. :-). My 2 cents.

Hello! We don't permanently mount the solar lights and just bring them out while boondocking so we don't have that problem. Our hardwired motion light has a switch inside that we can turn on or off so it doesn't light up while driving. I use velcro strips to keep my cords under control. In the old days I used toilet paper or paper towel tubes. Your cords don't tangle as much.

Great video, thanks for the tips guys. Just an FYI, that gel spray will NOT stop a bear. It may be effective against smaller animals such as coyotes and definitely people, but not bears. In reality, the chemical contents of any spray does not stop a bear. What makes bear spray canisters effective is the high velocity spray and spread of the canister. The broad, loud and intensity of the spray scares the bear, not the chemical contents.

@@IreneIronTravels LOL. So do I. Along with living 80% of my time in a Class B for the past 2 years, and a cop for 30 years, I spent many years backpacking across the US. PCT, AT, CDT. Stop by REI, Cabelas or Brass Pro Shop and pick up some bear spray for your hikes. Keep the gel spray for the van and any punk humans that challenge you. :-). My 2 cents.

Bear spray is also a good weapon for protection from humans.
Some VanLifers have a hidden GPS to find the Van is someone steals the whole vehicle.....Stay safe Cheers

Hi, I wondered if you have any issues with the outdoor lights being on when you are driving at night? They are a bit difficult to remove so I’m looking for some that might have on/off switch on the side for easy reach. Thanks
Hello! We don't permanently mount the solar lights and just bring them out while boondocking so we don't have that problem. Our hardwired motion light has a switch inside that we can turn on or off so it doesn't light up while driving.
