Looks beautiful! I have a table just like yours and I’ve got the Sun Bleached kit from Retique It. I’m so excited to start my project😊I hope mine turns out just as good as yours ❤
It has actually held up really well. My kids painted on there a few times, and some paint spots got on the table. I think I could remove them with alcohol, but I don't want to damage the finish, so I haven't tried that yet.
What other top coat would you recommend over Retique it? I don’t want to use the tripletique but not sure what other polyurethane to use. I’ve heard water based polyurethane makes dark wood look bad, can I use oil based polyurethane over Retique it?
I can't say for sure how that would turn out. You can usually use an oil based topcoat over a water based stain and visa versa, but you need to make sure that it is COMPLETELY dry. I would use the minwax water based poly if I hadn't used the tripletique. Hope that helps
You did a great job!❤

Thank you for watching! It's so much fun! Good luck❤️❤️
Curious how the table top has held up to use such as glasses, food plates etc 😊
