Angie! You are the best! You have always delivered superior customer service and we certainly appreciate YOU! What's the latest update?!??? Its been three months. I know your super busy but am thinking of ordering some. I heard its like 1617's #3 wax?
Losing my mind trying to wick this wax. When trying to wick a 4oz tin (2.67"ish) I have tried a few different HPSP Wicks (33-39). Tunneling with the lower numbers. Tried 9% and 10%. The HPSP 33 had quite a bit of tunneling, but the CT was good and the HT was great. Subsequent attempts with a new bottle of FO eventually produced a good burn, good melt pool and adequate burn time with HPSP 39, but minimal CT and little HT. Added FO at 206 degrees, stirred recommended time and poured at 186 degrees. New to candle making, but was excited with my first attempt and the CT and HT. Figured subsequent trials would result in a success. What am I doing wrong?
I just started a wick testing blog using this wax and wicks that we carry. I'll post the link if you'd like to check it out. I still have another week left for curing (2 weeks total) my first batch and then I'll start testing. One thing is it will appear to tunnel initially, but the wax will catch up and melt off the sides about half way down the vessel and eventually get to a full melt pool by then. Right now I have ECO, HPSP, CDN, LX, and wood wicks curing. hiveandhoneycandleco.com/blogs/coco-soy-hybrid-51104-wax-wick-testing
Great! I will add to my developing order. Just waiting for the testing results of the HPSP wicks. I see vessels are coming. Looking forward to one-stop shopping!
this wax looks super easy to use! 🤩
It is! I'll let it cure for 1-2 weeks and then test the hot throw.
Hi Angie. If you dont mind me asking. What wick did you end up using?

I see you have some videos of the candle burns. Wondering what your final determination was of the HPSP wicks. Thank you.

Thank you so much!! I had been watching the testing, but HPSP had not been included. So glad it is being reviewed. Will stay tuned for results.
By the way, has Caribbean Teakwood been discontinued? Was about to make samples, but could no longer find on your site.
@@midtownloftwanda4270 Thank you for reaching out! It was replaced with Driftwood.. very very similar, but stronger scent throw.

Is this 50% paraffin?
It's approximately 50% paraffin. It's a proprietary blend, so they don't disclose exact percentages.
I had to use a heat gun
