Yes!! More coconut content! :D
Was a great video. I have been watching some of her videos and have found she is very informative on what she talked about. Hope you keep having her on. Also really like your videos. They have helped me out a lot as a new and novice candle maker. I started making candles to help with my PTSD. I also have kidney disease and suffer from depression and anxiety so thank you for the help. Have a safe trip and look forward to watching more of your videos.
Awesome
❤ that resonates with me. Creativity can help ptsd and all order of malodies.
Two of my favorite youtube channels. Bravo to both you guys. Great content. Wade has helped me a lot with was and wicks and Bree is great with concrete vessels.
So helpful! As a beginner candle maker, I was wanting to hear more about coconut wax.
Glad it was helpful!
Thx for confirming my experience! I was baffled that I always have to wick down 1-2 sizes from the recommended wick, in order to get it right with this wax. I thought it was me, even though it’s clear that it’s what works best with the wax. I use all wooden wicks in my line and wicking down holds true in my experience.
LOIVE this collaboration! What a perfect duo
Thanks so much
❤I was kickin my butt over getting a full melt pull with coconut wax. Man. Thanks for clearing that up!!
Oh my gosh, thank you so so much to both of you. I’ve ordered some of the fragrance oils and love them!!!?❤
Awesome. You're welcome!
Definitely more Bree. Great Vid !!!! I will be subscribing to her channel.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank You. I started with Coco-Apricot. 🐝 + Coco-Apricot is a dreamy blend. I do a 20-80 blend. I'm Lovin my blend! I had no idea when I started to get a better candle to do a blend. I learn so much from ya'll. Next is to create Hydra-Stone vessels. PS Wade I'm LOVIN your Fragrance Oils.
I saw Bree recently comment about your oils, Wade, and I was hoping for a video, but I didn't expect this. However, I love it!
More to come!
very informative video😊
I was using Sozo essentials soy luxe blend wax. I was having nothing but sooting issues lately. I stumbled across Brie's video using Honey and Hive Titan 51104 blend! I absolutely love it! Smooth tops no matter what temp I pour at. I use LX wicks with this wax! I have excellent HT and CT. Thanks Brie. Also, thank you Wade I absolutely love your Fragrance oils! 😊
Thanks ! Wonder clear content as always
Glad you think so!
This is amazing because that is my preferred wax type, at this time, AND I love Bree!!!
😁
Aww thank you so much! ❤
Great video - I follow Bree and she is why I moved over to mostly using coconut wax - I use the coco-apricot blend and it is AMAZING !!!! I have found Bree shares it all - and this has really kept me on her channel. I will definitely need to try out some of the Black Tie Barn fragrance oils. And yes....more Bree would be amazing. I would love to get a double dose of her on your channel and on hers.
Thank you for the love, Jenifer! ❤
Working on it! 😁
Coconut wax is my fav! Some I do just pure coconut wax candles for at home. Clean burn, the wax is clear, nice scent throw. Love it. Nice vid, btw!
Thanks so much!
I started with coconut and only know coconut soy blends. Titan, Hemp, CAC are my go to. Whatever the case, coconut is in there, even if I add fractionated coconut oil myself.
❤️❤️
I love coco 83 but I just switched to Coco84 and I love it
I have heard great things about coco84! I’ve never tried it, but definitely want to some day.
I just ordered coconut 83 after years of fighting with c6.😢 And wise words you'd Care to share? Its not arrived yet but I've been testing 464, ecosoya advanced and just started soy/coconut 454. Dismal results with the first two but ecosoya is the easiest wax to deal with, performs great, flawless look after burning. NO HOT THROW. Like none😂 how is that possible? I think bbq sauce wicked up would have better hot throw
@@rebeccamueller8790 I hope you love the 83! Don't have too many wise words, as it's such an easy wax to work with! Just remember to use smaller wicks. Best of luck!
Hey Wade! I was wondering if pouring twice helps with the “cauliflower tops” of coconut soy blends like GB 454. Do you recommend 2 pours for sink holes?
Great crossover video. I follow you both. Do you mind sharing what wick series you use?
Hi! Thanks for watching :). With the candles shown in this video, I'm using ultra core wicks. I'm favoring those or HPSP wicks with my blend.
Thanks!
Thank you.
Thoughts on coconut soy golden brands 454? That’s what I’m testing, concrete vessel, wood wick (makesy 0.2/0.3) 10% FO. thought? ❤
That’s the one I currently use and would love some feedback back also
Great video! I use coco 83 and blend in beeswax. Wondering what you would recommend as the % ratio of coco to beeswax. I have been only adding 5% beeswax, but wondering if I need to be adding more?
Would love more coconut wax content!
From what I’ve heard, 5% seems to be the sweet spot!
Hello, for the amber jar what wick did you use? 9 ounce straight sided jar.
Show😊
Love Cocosoy but that cure time is a killer, especially when you're doing craft fairs last second
Always ✌🏽☝🏽🌿🖤🤎♥️❤️🌿
❤️
more Bree
😁
Also what is Titan 51104 and where can I get it? When I search it on Amazon, it comes up with a coconut soy wax blend.
How about a bit more of paraffin to coco 83?
What is SP487?!
Bree, where do you buy your wax?
Yes me also want to buy coconut wax.
Does it really matter in a vessel that no one see the sides
Nope
What about coconut & rapeseed wax? No love for that blend ?
That's a European based blend and this is mostly US blends
I have a question. I am a novice candle maker in my 50s. My technology skills are not the best. Is candle making out of my league in this new generation?😟
Absolutely not!
In the video you mentioned how coconut "likes" To be much hotter than other waxes but you did not actually explain the science behind why that is.
Hey there. It has to do with the nature of the wax. From my understanding, coconut waxes need to be heated hot to allow the molecules to fully open up, therefore allowing fragrance oil to bind more efficiently.
10% with velvet brew is to much, shoot galore
10% with nearly any oil is too much in my opinion. Fragrance really doesn't cause the soot as much as the wax/wick combo. :)
