I remember dragging my friend to my house so many times to knock out all these coop achievements. I was good enough to carry us to 5 stars on the expert songs. The one that gave the biggest trouble was the 1 million points on coop. There wasn't any DLC to play, so we opted for One with me on expert and him on medium. I remember being so frustrated that these couldn't be done online haha
Activision should give you a bounty for 100% ing this game's achievements. Seriously one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. Me and my buddy were both very good at this game and we never even dreamed of getting every achievement.
Good shit to you and Ollie for getting those insane co-op achievements, and that amount of dedication towards boosting the online achievements is insane, but super admired. GG on another one down, can't wait to see your next upload! On a separate note, having a third and final short tribute video to GH3, where you and Ollie vs eachother in the online on facecam together would be pretty fun to watch if you ever wanted to do that, not necessarily your regular content, but a cool small video idea nonetheless

Ive gotten completely back into guitar hero after my best friend came thru while I was visiting my hometown and we hit the 1mil achievement in coop in GH2 effectively completing that game off my achievement list after 11 or so years! Now we’re tackling GH3 and I gotta say… this is easily one of the absolute best achievement videos I’ve ever seen and the sheer difficulty of this completion is immense! Awesome to see the sacrifice you’ve made for these 2 videos and completion! I salute you my legend!
Good work on the Achievement FC; a well deserved one after all the trouble you've gone through for it. It was also my dream to earn every achievement on every Guitar Hero and Rock Band game but, sadly at the time, I sucked and by the time I became somewhat decent people moved on and the series became dormant. i've been playin gh3 on my wii and was happy to just complete that hard mode solo. not sure if i'm happy or devastated that there aren't achievements on wii because if there were i'd totally try and get them all.

Only those who have played the game to some degree can truly understand the greatness of your feat. 🔝 I was a quite passionate player too back in the day, but could barely finish tier 7 songs on hard at my best. I also genuinely think that some of the hardest songs are easier to play on a real guitar, and this fact alone should give the extent of your amazing skill.
Only the lead profile getting the co-op achievements is evil. Reminds of when me my brother played this Shrek game on Xbox and there weren't many achievements but they were all worth like 100 gamer score and only the lead profile got the gamerscore. So stupid.
I remember trying to get the 1 million points in coop with my friend on Free Bird and he would just get absolutely pissed at me because I'd mess up some small part randomly. Almost was a friendship ender lol.
I remember just not being able to 5star raining blood. So I used to pick raining blood every time online as it’s a quick song for the 500 wins and needed practice for the 5 star

WOR achievements are a wide assortment of different stuff and give you a good variety of gameplay compared to GHIII; although, I'm not sure how doable some of it will be, especially since there's full band achievements in that game that'll require finding a group of four people that can play on expert. At least those can be done through online play in WOR instead of requiring couch co-op. Good luck if you try for that one, it'll be both easier and harder than GHIII was, in different ways! Protip: Star Power Generator+/Star Power Nova+ is the king combo for generating Power Stars in Quickplay for most songs; so long as there's enough notes and you keep a good combo you can usually hit the cap of 20 Power Stars. The other powers that artificially add extra stars just can't compete with the raw score multiplier and consistency of combining those two powers. ... I don't even remember if there's any achievements tied to collecting Quickplay Power Stars, I just liked playing songs that way and seeing how many 20/20s I could manage :V EDIT: I had a little look and it doesn't seem like you're outright required to play more than one song in Quickplay Power Challenge for the achievements, but it might make the 2000 Quickplay stars achievement a lot less of a headache now that you can't easily pad your numbers with a bunch of DLC songs.
Not sure, definitely want to do more Guitar hero games and cover as much of the series as possible. Have modern warfare 2 (2009) all recorded just need to edit it! and lots more planned..

Well done to you on FC’ing GH3. I’ve been re-playing some of the GH games lately on the Xbox 360, but wouldn’t dream of setting out to achievement hunt on any of these games. I can make it through (sometimes barely) pretty much all songs on expert, but usually 4 stars is my ceiling on the hardest songs.
Oh and by “pretty much” all songs on expert, I meant to exclude Through the Fire and Flames (ever, ever)-- And I am currently stuck on Raining Blood and One (thought I did beat these two songs when I was a kid). I did beat GH2 on expert (relatively quickly), Smash Hits and Band Hero. Waiting to take on World Tour, GH5, and Warriors of Rock for future days… But again, I am considering just beating expert good enough for me. I tip my cap 🧢 to you for FC’ing all achievements in GH3… Seriously, what amazing skill, perseverance, and dedication.
I actually started recording GH2 but I completely butchered the audio. You can literally hear none of the music, only extremely loud clacking of the guitar. So think I need to re-do annoyingly.

@@JForJackPlays I remember the timing window being a lot tighter in GH2. I would drop combos during solos a lot more. Felt a lot smoother/easier in GH3.

ALL multiplayer achievements are grinds. Simply because you have to have more than 1 player involved at every step of the achievements.

Well done to you on FC’ing GH3. I’ve been re-playing some of the GH games lately on the Xbox 360, but wouldn’t dream of setting out to achievement hunt on any of these games. I can make it through (sometimes barely) pretty much all songs on expert, but usually 4 stars is my ceiling on the hardest songs.
Oh and by “pretty much” all songs on expert, I meant to exclude Through the Fire and Flames (ever, ever)-- And I am currently stuck on Raining Blood and One (thought I did beat these two songs when I was a kid). I did beat GH2 on expert (relatively quickly), Smash Hits and Band Hero. Waiting to take on World Tour, GH5, and Warriors of Rock for future days… But again, I am considering just beating expert good enough for me. I tip my cap 🧢 to you for FC’ing all achievements in GH3… Seriously, what amazing skill, perseverance, and dedication.
I remember never getting these achievements because none of my IRL friends were remotely good enough at Guitar Hero to go for them lmao

I actually started recording GH2 but I completely butchered the audio. You can literally hear none of the music, only extremely loud clacking of the guitar. So think I need to re-do annoyingly.

I really enjoyed these videos. I too had completed all achievements in this game, but it was years and years ago when it was still popular and active. It was such a fun time.

@@JForJackPlays I remember the timing window being a lot tighter in GH2. I would drop combos during solos a lot more. Felt a lot smoother/easier in GH3.
