This is MASTERPIECE! 💯
I'm not a professional critic, but I love critiquing plays, movies, and films. At first, I thought this film was just a project with bad acting and writing. However, the dark and eerie opening really intrigued me. The acting and locations were confusing at first, but the pacing got better. The future trio (Hector, AJ, and Emman) showed their anger and guilt really well, and I started to appreciate their acting. The standout characters were Joy and the past trio. The dynamics between past Emman and AJ were great-they were genuinely funny and all of them seemed like real friends. Joy's performance was really amazing, and the contrast between the bright past and the dark future was well-done. Act 2, where the friendship falls apart, was confusing. I didn't get why they avoided Joy at first. Joy's tragic backstory was compelling, and the scenes got darker and more eerie. Even though I knew Joy would die, I didn't want her to. The ending felt lacking, maybe because of the writing or time constraints. Overall, I had fun, was interested, and amazed. Hats off to you guys-you did a really good job. I give it 7/10.
