This song came in fact for Bryan Adams album ''Reckless''. This was the last single released of his ''Reckless'' album. Bryan Adams have a amazing year in 1985, who his songs was everywhere and was the king of rock in 1985. This success was worldwide and he have his first commercial success worldwide and he have a massive impact in his home town Canada and also in american market. In the album, of the ten tracks, six singles was released and all reaching the top 20 in Billboard Hot 100 between 1984 and 1986:
1. ''Run to You'': n.6 in december 1984
2. ''Somebody'': n.11 in march 1985
3. ''Heaven'': n.1 for two weeks in june 1985
4. ''Summer of 69'': n.5 in august 1985
5. ''One Night Love Affair'': n.13 in november 1985

I listen the last days this album, this album aged very well and the arrangements sound always good for this album many years after his released.
Seeing her smile and so happy after all she went through over the years here is heartwarming. RIP Tina you were a gem.

Hey Empress!! Surprised this is your first Bryan Adams experience. He lit the charts up in the 80’s & 90’s. RocknRoll and ballads both. “Heaven” (DJ Sammy covered this song) sure you’ve heard it. “Summer of ‘69”, “Pease Forgive Me”, “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman” “Everything I Do I Do It For You”, “Cuts Like a Knife”. I could keep going. His catalog is huge. You can’t go wrong with any of these songs and there’s a lot more. I think you’ll like them very talented, songwriter, guitarist, and singer.
Oh and ad libs are sensational. Bryan sang at her wedding too….their love and admiration for each other was super special

Bubba lol. I love that you know Mama’s Family, that was one of my fave shows as a kid. Bryan had a lot of huge hits in the 80s and 90s and he’s still sounding great today. I saw him this July with Joan Jett opening and he said some nice words about Tina before he played this song. That was soon after she passed.

Love this song and the video when it was MTV. Bryan Adams can't be underestimated, too. He is one of the quintessential straight vibe man but with the sensitivity. Tina said she dreamed of doing Rock like Mick Jagger and filling stadiums when she was broke and she meditated or chanted until it happened for her.

- ...I'm working and have a BUSY day, so, I was gonna skip some "Trivia Times"... but, I HAD to do THIS One....this was a duet done for Bryan's IMMENSELY successful 1984 LP, "Reckless", and he got Tina in the nick of TIME....; She was riding a SERIOUS high, w/ 1984's "Private Dancer" (the Album), & was on the charts, at the time of this release....
- ....She did the duet while she was working on "Private..." , and it coincided with Bryan's successful 1985 run.... Bryan is THE KING of Canadian Rock, and went on to become a ROCK LEGEND, w/ "Heaven", "Summer Of '69", "Run To You", "Everything I Do...", "Straight From The Heart", and MANY MORE.... Tina's 'look' (denim Jacket / heels / Leather skirt) was Tina's 'main' look for that time, until the BIG Fashion Designers, came -a 'callin' ....
- ...this tune peaked at #15 Pop (early 1986), and the Video was filmed on Tina's "Private Dancer" Tour; Bryan worked with her again, on the 1986 LP track "Back Where You Started", which got Tina a Grammy for "Best Rock Vocal Female Performance".....

Bryan Adams is a very accomplished and respected artist on his own. He's had many top 10 hits, has done movie themes and a lot of duets. He started around s1977 with a popular disco song called "Let Me Take You Dancing" where they sped up his voice so he sounded like he was 15. Then in the 80s he came back as a rocker.

There was nobody like Tina. I remember this performance from when I was a kid - now as a grown 40+ year old man, I can say that Bryan Adams had some songs way better than this one (Heaven, Run To You, Summer Of '69) and some that were way worse and overrated (Everything I Do, Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman, All For Love) - but their chemistry together is just FIRE and I love that Tina was 44-45 here and just commanding the stage with this younger man. Great bass line too, and Bryan's guitar licks are very catchy too.
