    THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU FOR BREAKING DOWN THIS AND EXPLAINING IT BEAUTIFULLY! And with pics/videos. I watched other videos and was still a bit confused! But you explained it so crystal clear. I had NO IDEA this existed!😲 At Animal Kingdom last year because my daughter was below height requirement for Everest coaster, I just counted it a loss. I am planning a trip to Hollywood Studios so was concerned about (Aerosmith) Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower or Terror. Thought I'd have to just lose out on those rides, but now I don't. This info you shared is awesome!

      Hi!! I’m so happy that you found the video helpful! You technically can book the next ride as soon as the first group enters, but it won’t be for the whole group. You can take the chance that the second group can get a time slot in an overlapping window. However, if you want to keep everyone together, book as soon as Party 2 checks in. 🤗

    I did rider switch at universal once for the hogwarts ride and they had a whole waiting room.... I left my 9 year old watching my 2 year old and then the ride BROKE and I was stuck ALONE on the ride (partially upside down) for 45 minutes and kind of panicing about my kids.... they were FINE. my 9 year old said "I thought it was a long ride but no one else was leaving so I wasn't worried". one of my worst ever part experiences!

    Been looking for this ! I'm travelling with 6 year old and baby. Even if we have lightning Lane does that mean me and baby can't go on the queue and I have wait outside till my husband and kid are finished . I had always assumed the wait area was after the queue for some reason 😅. Thank you!

    • @momisinthemood1133
      @momisinthemood1133  2 года назад

      Hi Liyana! I know right?!? But yep, you have to wait outside of the attraction’s queue. It’s a great system, but that is the downside. We recently went to Legoland, and I really liked how my little one could wait with us. But the downside to that, is that he wanted to ride 🤣🤣.

    Hi, How does rider switch work for early rope drop? My wife, sister and I (with baby) are planning to do flight of passage. Can I line up while my wife and sister go set up rider switch and then my sister can join me in line after? Or is that not allowed?

    • @momisinthemood1133
      @momisinthemood1133  7 месяцев назад

      Hi! 😊 That’s a great plan! Your sister probably won’t be allowed to join you in the queue later because some guests see it as skipping the line. But I have a solution! What I’ve done in the past is give the ticket or MagicBand of the second party riders to the person who is setting up the Rider Switch. So in your case, you and your sister join the line together, but your wife sets up the service for your sister and herself (if they’re the second riders). I hope that this helps!

    I'm still confused about Genie+ Rider switch. It sounds like if Party 2 has Genie+, they still have to wait in line in the Lightening Land that they paid for. Is there any time saved? Am I missing something?

    • @momisinthemood1133
      @momisinthemood1133  10 месяцев назад

      Hi! If the entire party has Genie+ Lightning Lane access for a ride (if the little one is 2 or under they wouldn’t need Genie+ or a park ticket), then *both* Party 1 and 2 will go through Lightning Lane. If you didn’t have Genie+, Party 1 will wait in standby line but Party 2 will go into Lightning Lane. Remember to scan the second party before the first party goes through. You’ll save a lot of time if everyone has Genie+ because party 2 won’t have to wait for a long time before riding. Let me know if you have more questions! 😊

    Hi there. for the rider swap: example party one is with me and my daughter; party two is with my husband and dad in law. when we do rider swap, can my daughter go with party two? thank you

    • @momisinthemood1133
      @momisinthemood1133  Год назад

      Hello! 🤗 More recently, Rider Switch party 2 can usually only be 2 riders. So, your daughter would ride with the bigger group by waiting in the standby queue first, then you and your daughter would go in Lightning Lane as party 2. If you want to do it the other way around (so your husband and dad in law ride second) , ask the cast member if that’s okay and they may just say yes. ☺️

    Does the two hour window for selecting a new G+ LL start over for the entire party when the first rider switch party goes through the LL?

    • @momisinthemood1133
      @momisinthemood1133  Год назад +1

      Hello!! ✨I’ve never considered this-thanks for asking! Everyone who has a Genie+ selection for that attraction has to tap in in order for you to make the next selection for everyone. But after talking to some of my friends at planDisney, what you could do is make the next selection for party 1, then when party 2 goes through, make theirs. Then later, one of the parties can try to modify theirs to get the times to overlap (if they aren’t already). If you have other questions, just let me know or visit me over on planDisney: plandisney.disney.go.com/meet-the-panel/panelist/leandra-l-639/

    We actually love child swapping or rider switching. It gives some of us a second turn without waiting on another long line. Is it new for only one other person to ride again or has that been a Disney rule? My youngest is 9 yrs old so it's been a while since we swapped. The last was in Universal where several of people rode a second turn.

    • @momisinthemood1133
      @momisinthemood1133  2 года назад

      The “limited” partner(s) for Party 2 started in 2021. 😞 Because we only have one double rider, it still works out for us, but I know other groups will have to choose among kids.
      Most child swaps at Universal are actually near the ride boarding if I remember correctly? I used to go all the time but that was before I had kids lol.

    • @momisinthemood1133
