@@THEBIASEDCOMPOSER You could listen to how the sopranos sing ( many different singers) with orchestra or piano- where they take a breath/slow down, etc. Then, sing the melody when you rehearse alone, and record by accompanying the melody you hear in your mind.
@@julianaspector3391 Thank you! Am so sorry it doesn't work. What I did was to follow all the tempi from the original recording of Callas (that was suggested by a friend singer). In fact, I recorded the piano while listening to that recording in real time. As you can hear ruclips.net/video/AcUFSkhRO4s/видео.html So I guess that is not ok. I will try and see how I can correct that. Thanks again, your feedback is really appreciated.
Hi! You need to breathe with the singer, not only follow her bc your are the performer too. I suggest to listen to Lina Bruna Rasa. She was Mascagni’s Santuzza so that’s his tempo in the recording.
Very enjoyable and a nice challenge for me to stay with the tempo.
Thanks, am happy to hear.
Perfect tempo! Thank you!
Thank you! Am happy to hear.
this is nice as a solo. there is no way a singer would be breathing with these exaggerated changes in tempi within a measure.
Oh! I see. I was following the exact tempi from the performance of Callas. (please see description). Thank you for letting me know.
Are any of the other versions I made of this piece ok?
The tempi I follow are from here ruclips.net/video/AcUFSkhRO4s/видео.html
Callas, Simionato , Tebaldi , Olivero , Gencer, Bruna Rasa
It's impossible to sing with this track. Frustrating!
So sorry! Thank you for letting me know. What would you suggest could make it work?
