Keep learning and keep shredding! I just had my first drift event in almost 4 years. Still trying to figure out if my Z has too much grip. At times it felt like I had to stay heavy on throttle or it was going to grip up. I'm going to double check my rear toe now too!

That’s all we can do keep learning and making the cars better 🤘🏼

Maybe your trailing arms? Or traction rods? you may be gaining alot of toe under compression. I wwould remove your rear coils and check the travel toe. That may help as well.

You’re absolutely right, I currently have stock traction rods so I can’t adjust the toe curve, and my springs are very soft which allows the car to gain more toe than needed. Adjustable arms coming before the next comp!

@@tonycrispin FDF makes great ones that won't bind and they're not super expensive. Love the vids btw. Digging the format you've got going.

@@tdhbb I’ll have to check them out! I have PBM rear arms right now (aside from the traction rod) haha and thank you!!

Ive always had issues in my z running 265 mainly on the tight stuff trying to chase always grips up. I would run some 235/245/40 for sure then just play with tire pressure. I'm trying the new ebisu 235 360tw think they might be a winner after i saw how much grip I got from the 215 comp. The Kendas are amazing also good old westlake/ironmans

Man the ebisu is my favorite tire even in a 265 it’s good! But for sure it’s a tough balance. Drive with fast cars you want the grip, but it’s easy to have too much and end up fighting the car! 235’s incoming haha
