- As of today, Avicii Arena is the new name of the iconic globe shaped arena in Sweden. Avicii Arena becomes a symbol and meeting place for an initiative focused on young people's mental health. In celebration of the renaming, The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra has recorded a symphonic version of the Avicii song "For A Better Day", sung by 14-year-old Ella.

@@buzzbuzzbee3850 Yeah and every year I play Avicii’s music ofc. The previous birthday before that was also depressing and a disaster and that Friday I felt calm especially because it was a Friday. When I came home I turned into a edm radio station and that’s how I found out. I remember going to my mom’s room and crying on the floor thinking about my deceased twin sister and now Avicii. It still breaks my heart to think about how short his life was cut and how much potential he had. I hope he’s now at peace though. 🙏🏼

He wasn’t just a dj. He was much more than that. He wrote music at an iconic level, unbeknownst to most. His musical genius was taken for granted. Listening to the orchestra play his music makes it clear that he was on another level. His brain must never have shut off with all the genius ideas he had on how to produce music. He was truly one of a kind and he is sorely missed. I can only imagine what other music was in his brain pounding to get out.

I truly miss Avicii’s music. It was a style so unique that it could not truly be reproduced. Listening to his lesser known tracks, news of his death seemed surreal.
Try Kygo, he was inspired by avicii and adds lots of his own style to the music as well.
To be honest... I liked most of his less famous songs more

@Leon Foden i've never seen avicii "only hitting the play button". For my experience, he was and continue being one of the greatest DJs in world. It could be true what you say that hit the play button, but the majorty of times he played with music mixing tones with so many buttons, like the DJs do. And remember he began being one Disco DJ, then he got popular and turn into the greatest EDM producer in the world. But he was still DJing.
