The OdiCoat is so wild, like you can see the emery board grabbing and shredding the untreated fabric, and it does basically nothing to the treated fabric!
Thanks Courtney! Bought 2 tubs from a local craft shop here in Australia. I have many tails to coat! It is so easily available here, I found mine in a craft shop online, and have seen it at bag making shops too.
Update: If anyone wondering, not compatible with the Moonsong magic new fabric tails. Did a small test patch and creates long white lines from the fabric underneath printing if that makes sense. However also tried on my Mertailor Fantasea tail and seems to work just fine on that material!
I wanna test this on my old no longer can be used narwhal mermaid custom tail. (( I got another narwhal custom tail , but I keep the old worn down one for memorabilia)) 😍🧜🏻♀️😊 Courtney thank you for shareing this mermaid info this will definitely help protect my tail’s from damage. ☺️
This seems very similar to a local product that I used to waterproof my fabric painted tail. It's possible that it doesn't bond to finfolk/ mertailor etc because their existing waterproof coating creates a barrier preventing the Odicoat from adhering. Could it be that it's water based?
Ommmmgg this is so cool! I'm so excited about this. I might have to try it on my ShelloMermaid tail. The dorsal spines might do well with a couple of coats. If we're looking to reserve a custom tail slot how will we want to go about that, especially with the wait list? I'd really love to save a slot, been dying for a Courtney custom tail since Savannag DreamMer unboxed his Spyro tail. 🤩🤩 Love you so much! Fintastic video!
Hi! Thank you so much for your tutorials! I have a kind of related but kind of unrelated question. I'm trying to make some structured face/ear/head fin accessories for one of my mermaid costumes. I accidentally discovered while doing another shoot that foam prosthetics will float too much. Unfortunately I don't have silicone which other people seem to recommend, but I do have liquid latex and have made liquid latex prosthetics for dry land uses. Would you recommend liquid latex prosthetics for underwater? And if so, what are some waterproof paints/makeups or protective sealants? (Would OdiCoat Gel coating be a good sealant?) If painted liquid latex is not a good idea, do you have any suggestions for how to make structured face/ear/head fins with polyester or cotton blend fabrics?
Hi Courtney, I lost one of the little straps of the structure made out of vinyl in my fin fun tail.. do you know where i can buy some extra straps to close the vinyl ?
📌Please watch the WHOLE VIDEO first, but you can buy OdiCoat here: amzn.to/45nIMRM
Dear Courtney , I have a free diving monofin and I want a tale for it, can you custom make a fluke at any size?

Isn't it absolutely wild?!

Where did you score it in Aus? :)

Would potentially work on parts of Moonsong tail where the fabric does not stretch at all
I remember asking about something like this in one of your non-pod streams ages ago! :O
Awesome that you've discovered it!
Who is this talented, mer-diva.❤
Hi Courtney! I was wondering if this coating was safe on fin fun tails? I love your videos and your a very very amazing creator, keep it up!

Does this work with FinFun Elite tails?

Will you be using this coating for customer tails thru Patreon?
I want to find fabric I can paint one to make my own tails do u know any that the Odie coat will work on?
Hi Courtney are you ok your last Instagram story had me worried hope your well❤️
What happened to the tail that it didn't work with?
Basically it doesn't offer the same level of protection and leaves a white residue.
I wish they will see this video and sponsor you 😅
