Would you be willing to share your ANKI decks? Pretty please!

I had to clear a lot of my computer to save space- so give me a few days to dig through the backups and I’ll get what I can shared!

But I also super duper recommend creating flash cards instead of taking notes during lectures. (Or even better going through PowerPoints before a lecture and making a deck from what you can tell is going to be important, and then adding to it during the lecture)

Do you like your Mac for school? I am looking for a laptop before I start OT school!

Good luck! I like my mac but it’s what I had for undergrad so I just kept the same laptop. I wouldn’t say you need any particular device, just don’t go for the cheapest thing. Macs are definitely more expensive, so you might find you can save money and get the same performance out of a different brand. Having good processing so that you can have multiple apps and multiple tabs open without it slowing down is important. I also would opt for a lighter laptop because you’re on the go so much!

How do you know what to write down on the anki cards? And since you don’t take notes do you feel like you were still able to learn a lot and ace the exams?

I essentially took notes on anki cards. They essentially are fancy notecards so I would create cards in categories: the cards would either be vocab words and their definitions, questions I thought might pop up on exams (from the content taught) or big concepts that I felt were important and their application. So all the same things you’d take notes on if you take effective notes. Id then use these cards to study.
