It’s a shame this isn’t performed more. I can’t find any videos of a live performs e. Such a fun, Scott Bradley/Gershwin-esque piece!

I liked the bacchanale for a long time and was waiting for this one. I didn't expect you would do that. Thanks you for your work in creating this video, I enjoyed following the music with the score!

A genius who genius didn't work some of the time but that was not his fault . Thanks to the Louisville Orch.under Robert Whitney, and others, for keeping his music alive. Greetings from Detroit. PS I was in Summer Youth Music stuff 1960s and 1970s and we really liked Ibert's sriting fo chamber winds. Roi Rene, was that his piece ?

Now I remember. Roi Rene was Milhaud. Trois Pieces Breves was Ibert's contribution to the canon. We'd all love to hear more . from Jim, what a Gentleman. Not sure what to make out of the Hollywood Holocaust eh. They're still at lunch!

Doesn't sound like Stravinsky at all. Khachaturian - Sabre Dance and very probably Spartacus which is from the same year; 1956.

@@bartjebartmans i think this piece is kinda khachaturianish as well
