  • Here's a very basic (and kind of boring) craps basic strategy. While this won't likely get you all excited while playing... you just might walk away a winner! We are going to lay the 4 and 10 while playing a don't pass or dark side strategy. Try this the next time you go to the casino if you're just starting out, learning the game of craps.

    Simple strategies are the best ones for actually winning! Nice video. I’m a believer in this strategy (but I have a bigger DP (e.g. $50) and use multiple numbers for a smaller lay (e.g. $30 on 4/5/9 and 10 together). You actually won even more (you paid yourself from your own rack on the first big red at 3:29).

    Nice video. I like to lay the 4 and the 10 together on the come out to take advantage of the 7. If one of them gets knocked off, I would then lay some some odds alongside the Don’t pass number. Keep it up

    My dad taught me this couple years ago it’s not boring at all my eyes light up when I’m on don’t pass and get a 4 then I go to the Don’t come and then there’s that 10 I immediately lay them soon as they get placed 💯

    Going to try different variations of this next weekend. Taking down 4 and 10 after CO. 3 roll molly DC instead of lays, and DP odds if 4-10 are the points. Mix in some big red hops on COs if naked otherwise. Whether to ladder units is my question

  • @douglasscovil3447
    @douglasscovil3447 Год назад +2

    this is a good strategy for the CO roll, but recommend you take down that Lay bet when a Point's set. if a 10 hits, you lose $50 and you will not recoup that $50 loss, even if you win your $25 DP.

    I like this strategy! Its EASY and lets you offset the 7 by laying the 4 or 10. Also I like watching the shooter and placing the bet on their favorite number or play the hard ways. Great video keep it up.

    • @itzamia
      @itzamia Год назад

      You want to hedge the hardway 10 or 4 when using this strategy. After a number 4-10 hits (not 1,3 or 6,4 if you are lay betting one of those) you can then pull those bets down, and now you have 25 on the don't pass, bet 25 on the point number. You will either win or push. 25 on the don't pass and 25 on a 4 for example will either push on a 7 or pay you 9:5 on that $25.00 or you break even. In other words you can't lose after you survive the come out roll doing this.

  • @Hityme602
    @Hityme602 4 года назад +2

    Hey can you do a similar strategy?, instead of playing the DONT pass play the field and the 4 and 10 on place bet.
    If you
    Lose the field, double it up, if you lose the field again double it up again, and when you hit the field collect and start again with one unit. with your 4 and 10 still at play.
    I like to call this strategy this strategy “The Trinity” then when you double or triple your money pull bets off

    • @CrapsTastic
      @CrapsTastic  4 года назад

      I'd be happy to roll out this strategy. At what point do you stop doubling the field? The trouble with Martingale is that it can quickly wipe out a huge bankroll. What would be a good starting bankroll for this strategy?

    • @Hityme602
      @Hityme602 4 года назад +1

      @@CrapsTastic I would start with 200 or 300 and after 4 hits start regressing. If the number 10 hits regress that whole number then wait for the four to hit and regress that number but always playing the field. But if you hit your goal and your chips are still at play up to you lol. You can also play the hard ways with the Trinity strategy.

    2:00 nothing to see here, this strategy isn’t exciting. 🤣 I think a continuous don’t might be more exciting because you win all at once and lose one at a time. 5:30 are lay bets automatically on on the come out? As a light side player, I didn’t know that. It makes for a great hedge. Thanks again for another great video!

      After 56 years of playing craps, I can tell you haven't played very much. Consistent Winning is boring. Unfortunately, most people on the crap table play for fun not to win. So find excitement another way, learn to play to win, which is for the most part boring.

      What’s wrong with playing to have fun? I’m not an advantage player, and I don’t want to be - it’s too much work! I go to the casino to have fun, I consider my losses to be the cost of that fun and wins to be a bonus! Let’s not talk down to all recreational gamblers for the simple reason that you’re not one of them.

    I have to remind you that your betting on the “Don’t Pass”.
    Please don’t say “Don’t Pass Bar”. That line bet is communicating two things. Don’t Pass And Bar 12.
    The Bar 12 tells the player they push or tie on the 12, so they don’t win if a 12 is rolled. It is barred. This gives the casino it’s house edge.
    The same is true for the
    “Don’t Come” bet.
    It is not correct to verbally announce it as “Don’t Come Bar”.
