So the full design with the diagonal lines connecting the 6 vertical lines, is another thing that humans just find appealing; specifically talking about the straight lines used in the connection that makes it appealing. Altogether there is something you're taught in film class, the rule of 3s and keeping things in neat lines with a center to focus on. It's just an appealing way of drawing something, that's it.
