Unfair - trade evolutions. Not having someone to trade with especially back before Wi-fi connectivity meant I was missing out on all of those Pokemon, and when you do get a partner you need to make sure they trade it back. Some people won't...sadly. They should make it so that the trade evolution only occurs when traded back to the original owner.
Correction: A legit bird the size of a doll cannot learn to carry a human on it's back. Even Pidgeot is only around four feet, not to mention birds have hollow bones to cut down on weight. If the biological requirements are that high just for self sustained flight, imagine what it would take to carry someone at least 2 times your weight.

@Jack Dillon26 Sturdy always leaves the user with 1 HP if the move normally 1 shots them. (Excluding KO moves) Since Shedninja has only 1 HP, this makes him immune to every other type of attack. (Excluding KO moves) Since Shedninja has only 1 HP, this makes him immune to every other type of attack. Since the Ability Changer is in Gen 8, you can make Shedninjas with Sturdy, on top of Max IVs and Max Attack and Speed EVs.
OHKO moves ignore normal accuracy and evasion mods though. 30% base chance plus 1% per level higher than your opponent (auto-fails if your level is below the opponent) and the only other modifier it cares about are "guaranteed accuracy" moves/abilities (IE: Lock on, No Guard), type effectiveness (IE: Fissure will never work on a flying type unless gravity is in play or they used roost), and... Sheer Cold being weird since it's 20% base if not used by an ice type in addition to ice types being immune to it. Basically, if a level 100 uses a OHKO move on a level 30, it's a guaranteed hit, even if the opponent was given type to max out their evasion and minimize the level 100's accuracy.
"The most unfair thing in Pokemon" No one wants to talk about that annoying lady in Diamond and Pearl that trades you a Haunter, but when you get it, it's holding an Everstone.

Forget Lusamine’s Clefable. Melony’s Eiscue is the most annoying boss mon in any game to date. If you don’t OHKO it, it’s almost guaranteed to set up hail on turn 1 and constantly heal its face, making it basically immune. And you can’t OKHO it as it has its face by default! Pika cup allows you Pokemon between 15 and 20, but the total of the 3 you bring into battle is limited
I think Charizard gets special treatment because Ash evolved a Charmander, but never evolved a Bulbasaur or a Squirtle
One unfair thing is how some TYPES are given more cool stuff while others get borderline ignored
eg. Basically every water type I see gets the best Ice type moves in the game
Dobbs sounds like a drunken Rick from Rick and Morty
I am fed up with Charizard. I wish to god he doesn't get in the next pokemon game
I understand why charizard is constantly having special treatment. He’s overhyped as he looks like a dragon. And he’s actually pretty shit in competitive. He’s just a weaker typhlosion which is 4x weak to rocks. Almost actually useless unless it mega evolves. Same goes for gigantamax.
Most unfair thing in Pokémon:
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon: The poliwraths in poliwrath river. It made me rage quit tons of times.
Oh number 8 angered me so much. I remember watching that Trista and Michael match live. I'm so glad they changed the time rules. That was so dirty!
So true with the max raids
I always die when its gigantimax pokemon
Arcanine not ever truly receiving it's Legendary status, imo that's one of the most unfair things Pokemon has ever done. Pokemon, if you can give us three roaming beasts AND two birds in gen 2, all FIVE being legendary, WHYYYY NOT ADD THE ONE LEGENDARY DOG TO THE THREE BIRDS IN GEN 1?! 🤦♀️😭💔
You know what else is unfair? Charizard being the only past starter in Sword and Shield. How much more obvious does the favoritism need to be?
Unfair - trade evolutions. Not having someone to trade with especially back before Wi-fi connectivity meant I was missing out on all of those Pokemon, and when you do get a partner you need to make sure they trade it back. Some people won't...sadly. They should make it so that the trade evolution only occurs when traded back to the original owner.

Physically impossible for a _bird_ to _fly_

Correction: A legit bird the size of a doll cannot learn to carry a human on it's back. Even Pidgeot is only around four feet, not to mention birds have hollow bones to cut down on weight. If the biological requirements are that high just for self sustained flight, imagine what it would take to carry someone at least 2 times your weight.

*When half your Pokemon are dead and your rival surprises you with a battle*
That happened to me like 5 minutes ago in sword
Another fair thing: Battling Brock in leaf green choosing Charmander
that happened to me in SM with Red himself, i was hatching some eggs on my way to the battle tree for the first time and only had 2 main team members who were roughed up from the trainers before, i was shocked there was no yes or no to battle them or didnt offer to heal the team

Barry. Just Barry. He waits in one of those city-route transfer things in diamond/pearl/platinum and before you even know what you’re doing, you take two steps forward on your bike and surprise! A shedinja with sturdy.
@Jack Dillon26 Sturdy always leaves the user with 1 HP if the move normally 1 shots them. (Excluding KO moves) Since Shedninja has only 1 HP, this makes him immune to every other type of attack. With PokéGen, you can make Shedninjas with Sturdy, on top of Max IVs and Max Attack and Speed EVs.

Unfairness in a nutshell:
Me: Uses 6 Double Teams
Also me: Uses 6 Smokescreens
My opponent: 'Walrein used Sheer Cold! It's a One-hit KO!
**facepalm**
@@Bluebedo Thanks, really explains why Sheer Cold and Fissure ALWAYS hit on me.

No one wants to talk about that annoying lady in Diamond and Pearl that trades you a Haunter, but when you get it, it's holding an Everstone.
Just take it away
Even after all this time i have to say screw that lady
@quupertti the whole idea of it being unfair is a Haunter only evolves when it’s traded and an everstone prevents a Pokémon from evolving as long as it holds the everstone, thus it being unfair
There is literally a subreddit dedicated to hating on her.

*Charizard being the most buffed, upgraded and the pokemon with the most special forms of the last years*
Honestly, they'd probably make regular Charizard 10x stronger than Eternamax Eternatus (who has a base stat total of 1,125, btw). I wouldn't be surprised if they buffed it to that extent.
It is very annoying that charizard got a lot of special treatment, but what about meowth?
I hate Charizard. It has a good design, but Venusaur is one of my favourite Pokémon. I can’t forgive Charizard for robbing Venusaur of its credit.

I don’t do champions cup rematches because of this thing. I invariably get paired with Melony and her Eiscue slowly destroys me.
