Good video like always! Nice tribute to Steve and Cody. Steve and family live across the street, he lent me his Marcum one winter for a couple weeks when he went to Australia to visit family. Miss see him in his boat on the street getting it ready for their next tournament when I come home from work. Steve would always wave and smile and have a conversation. They will be greatly missed.
We just started fishing vertical with the family for gils and crappies, but it's hard because everyone fights for the screen, but it's a good time. Thanks for sharing these tips, still looking forward to your elections breakdown video.
Love the video, were leaving Friday to go north fishing and bird hunting, was hoping to see some drop shot lol, I am going to try that . ( Condolences as well to those guys families 🙏)
Another great video. sorry to hear about the terrible accident. sometime when your doing the Jig n minna you should get a close up of the way you thread them on your hook.
I'd never met Steve or Cody, but when I heard the news my heart dropped. My thoughts/prayers go out to Steve and Cody's family and friends during this difficult time, gone way too soon 😢.
Hi Clayton, when you say hi traffic areas on that lake could you also pick sharp bends in the old river either in the middle of the lake or close to shore? Thx and keep up the awesome videos 👍🏻
Speaking of minnow shortages - it's almost impossible to find shiners in Calgary and the surrounding areas. We're living off the ones we got in PA in June when we did a north Sask trip, but it could be dire by the time ice fishing season rolls around. And condolences to the Taylor and Strass families and friends, what a horrible tragedy.
Man i wish you had the hoody in the Performance hoody style but i know that manufacturer doesn't offer you that option. It'll almost be jigin rap and lipless crank time before too long. :)
Very fitting ending Clayton. Well done.
Thanks dude! Cheers to you!

Thanks for taking us with you. Amazing fishing. So excited for next week, BIG trout and brookies with my nephew :) LG from germany Clayton
Very nice and sincere outro. Definitely a difficult time for the fishing community.

Thanks for your kind words about Steve and Cody Clayton, they will be greatly missed by family and friends. ♥️
Good quality video. I enjoyed, thanks!
Appreciate you watching!
Haven't gotten out in two months because of some crap circumstances, you and Jay have been keeping me sane with all the great content...Tight lines :)
Oh man! Hope you get out soon!
Two months without fishing , impossible in my books . Sorry man .
What class you have. Well done, Sir.
“Unbelievable!!” Love the videos. See you on the water.
I wanna go walleye fishing! Too much work, not enough fishing!
I feel you brother. I didn’t know them, but I have had friends leave the earth.

Awesome! Good luck up there!
Just planned a trip to lake of the woods today. Can't wait for next summers trip
Nice Vid and tribute to 2 amazing fisherman what a loss…hope they leave some fish for the rest of us!! Be kind, be safe live every moment
Hey Clayton, where did you get the strap you put on your splashguard to hold your rod tips?
I like the jig and a minna!
At 5:35 to 5:42. On your graph. That big blob. What would you classify that as? Bait ball? Junk in the water column?
Bait
Such a great video man. The fishing community is small and really appreciate the pics at the end of the video.
It is so small!
Caught my first walleye yesterday!!!! Not a lot of fight out of those ones, but they sure are beautiful fish!
Lol😅 " you have no idea how good you are gonna taste" , Love your videos Clayton, keep em coming.
It did taste good too! :)

Sorry for your loss and the communities loss, the families. From all accounts Cody and Steve will be missed. God bless during this tough time.
Cheers my friend!
We used Walkers minnows last weekend, and I agree, they are the best minnows out there.
Great Minnows!
Mr.Schlick, I Need that rod What size do you use?
Honestly from experience walleye fishing Id say like a 6’6 or maybe even a 7’3 if you like longer rods

I went yesterday and took the vexilar with and jigged for crappie in my ice spot. Caught a few and gained the info I was looking for.
Sounds like a good time!
There's just something about watching a flasher and it's never a bad time on the water.
I am trying my own frozen minnas this winter. Tried some late summer and the first batch was as mushy as grandma's porridge.
Wooooooo new Clayton vid.
YES!!!
Drink a shot every time Clayton says, jig and a minna, and you'll die of alcohol poisoning. lol
JIG N MINNA!!!
That´s for sure :D
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Sorry, I got it wrong.
Love my gruv stuff.
I wanna see jig n minna on the mountain in 4 footers!😂
PRIMETIME INDEED ! Wtg Clayton !!
Love Primetime!
Great video. Personally I would like to see a clay vs Jay pike challenge. Let's see some big fall gators.
Awesome!
Sorry for the loss of your fellow fishermen
Another quality vid that i can sit back and eat pizza to
Hey Clayton are you archery hunting this year or just rifle? Great video buddy 🔥💯

I see you found some pants ! 😂 . I dont know why any body uses anything but a jig n minna when fishing out of a boat for walleye .
I think the T shirt should say Jig n *a* minna.
