is it okay to let the eggs under the ground where the mother turtle left them? after our turtle dug holes and laid eggs and covered the holes back, we never touched the ground or checked on the eggs. we avoid getting the ground wet. It has been 30 days.
Turtles dig regardless, I took all the sand and pebbles out of my tank, because she would just mess up the arrangement I set up. Plus it traps all the dirt and feces of the turtle, making cleaning a bitch. If you’re talking about an outside enclosure idk.
