  • Celebrations erupted around the world on May 8, 1945, when Germany unconditionally surrendered its military forces to the Allies, effectively ending World War II in Europe.
    Today we celebrate Victory in Europe Day with one of the most famous songs of the big band era. "Bugle Call Rag" would have been playing on the radio throughout 1942, as American service members began their trek overseas to enter the war. #VEDay

    The Army Blues.....Wow - What can ya say....CREAM of the CROP ---- been that way since day one........My Dad was MSG Willis Hershey Sr - one of the founding Members of this Group who has done us SO proud over the years. Thanks you guys for your love of music and support for our outstanding Military Men and Women who provide so much to our Community and the World. Music - the great unifier......

    The tenor saxophonist had some interesting ideas, and it was fascinating to hear the Michael Brecker influence in the middle of something so old-fashioned.
