Terre D’Hermes EDT is really one of the best scents out there, should really be a niche fragrance👍
Chanel Egoiste is the most niche designer fragrance out there. So unique and different.
Just got the bogart pour homme and love it, especially the dry down.
Dior Fahrenheit (EDT not the new Parfum) really grew on me, when i first heard it it was something i was avoiding, didnt do anything for me and was hard to smell anything specific in it, now i think it's one of the most luxurious smells
I'm really hoping it grows on me, blind bought the EDT and its a tricky one.
@@donmongoose Very tricky. You literally smell like a lawnmower mowing the grass. Not sure if id actually wanna smell like this other than a lazy weekend day off in ths summer.
Fahrenheit e.d.t is amazing...
@@oceansoflorewi 🤣😂🤣
My girlfriend says the EDT smells like a stink bug. I like it, but I understand it’s not for everyone. The Parfum we both like.
I have the Bogart and I absolutely love it. Was one of my best blind buys.
I LOVE Terre d‘Hermes as a daily driver in the spring and summer (the EDT at least). It’s great for office settings and also for everything else. It’s so wearable while being rather unique (at least where I‘m based) - people just assume TdH is what I smell like. But Fahrenheit it my GoTo for going out!
I always thought Maison Margiela was a niche brand.. you learn something every day.
Definitely a niche concept and packaging… i only knew they sold clothing from the Jay Z/Kanye song
a niche house is a brand that solely sells fragrances. MMM has sneakers, clothing, accessories
Bit like Tom Ford’s private line - definitely straddles the line between designer and niche.
@@Fidz0 yeah I had no idea.. I just thought they sold fragrances
Well let me introduce you to Maison Martin Margiela!
Completely unrelated to the topic of this videos however! Martin himself is a legendary fashion designer that too the fashion world by storm. He abandoned any snobbish idea the pretigeous fashion world demanded. He did everything without the help of corporations, giving him full creative control and creating truly special fashion. He was one of the most prolific figures in the avant garde and anti-fashion scene. Almost all of the designer of today have taken inspiration from him, he inspired the last few generation of fashion designers.
In short he is your favorite designers’ favorite designer.
I very much agree with the Terre D'Hermes comment
I really wish that term would go away. I know plenty of niche fragrances that are absolute garbage in my opinion. I don’t mean the BO, Barnyardy smelling ones. Scent is subjective. I mean don’t last, project or are synthetic smelling.
Agreed. I think it’s a huge fallacy that “niche automatically equals high quality”. Like you I’ve smelled niche scents that smell cheap and synthetic, and cheaper scents (like some mentioned) that smell way better quality.
We know that even in a lot of niche scents, the cost of the juice inside is like
@@SirSillageSniffington Well said! 👍🏼
Just about all the Guerlain scents spring to mind as Niche quality. Just an amazing Fragrance house. Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum is another belter as is Dior Homme Original. Caron 3rd Man might be a bit left field but what a great Gentleman's frag. TBF Most of Laliques frags are belting too. I've had Lion Pour Homme and currently have L'Homme Homage, Equus edp, Encre Noir and Encre Noir Sport all are great.
Guerlain is neche, smart guy
Dior Eau Sauvage…..absolute banger. Niche all the way.
@@modmod392 nah, just super old school smelling Barbershop fragrance. I bought a 6.8 of it. Got it, sprayed it twice. Gave it to my dad... probably should have gave it to my grandpa
@@modmod392 Yes. 👍
@@modmod392 very proper I concur
I personally would add Bvlgari Man in black
Recently picked up Brioni edp intense this is an amazing scent. Possible niche quality
That’s a solid scent. It definitely walks the line between niche and designer. It reminds me of something PDM might put out.
After watching Ash's review I tried to pick up a sample but couldn't find it so just bought a 100ml. Once of my best blind buys
It would be great to see a issey miyake buying guide or maybe even just a best of house cold weather scents?
Best cold weather scent from Issey miyake for me is.. Pulse of the Night.
Ayyyye! Finally got mentioned! Thanks brotha!
Narciso Rodriguez bleu noir for him.. a great one...
Costume National Homme (EDP&Parfum) + Soul are also a niche quality fragrances imho.
Calvin Klein Euphoria Amber Gold should have been mentioned…also hard to find, was super cheap a few years ago. Smells incredible 👌🏼
I love the smell of Fahrenheit in the morning, you know that gasoline smell?
It smells like victory.
In London UK can’t buy D&G luminous night everywhere out of stock, Roberto Cavani Golden anniversary out of stock everywhere, in fact a lot of fragrances hyped can’t get.
Just saw the shout-out right now and I greatly thank you for that, Mr. Ash!!! It baffles me as to why nobody talks about Bogart Pour Homme. I think perhaps people don't mention it since the opening is very aggressive and not for everyone. I appreciate you mentioning my comment and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take care, Ash!!!
dior fahrenheit is masterpiece
was able to grab a bottle of dior homme parfum at one of the duty free shops at the airport i worked at, with the discount i payed under 100 bucks (converted). Its sold out now tho, but im for sure grabbing another or 2 if they re stock
Dior Fahrenheit (EDT, original) I remember the first time I smelled it at Sephora. Gasoline big time. I like it and bought it. Still smells great to me, BUT I no longer smell the gasoline. I wish I could reset my nose so I could smell it for the first time again.
I was really surprised to hear Bogart Pour Homme. I surprisingly have that one. I really like it. It’s a great hidden gem 💎
I think Replica Jazz Club is more nichè smelling than Versace Oud Noir... don't get me wrong, I do like Versace ON but I find it linear and not as complex in scent profile as Jazz Club
Maybe, but the longevity of Jazz Club is much worse, in my experience. So, that could be an argument for the Versace being more niche-like.
@@sash0210 Jazz Club's longevity is not horrible on my skin... not great either.. just average.... but I feel like the actual scent quality, composition and how it develops on skin is ultimately more important than the longevity... not every nichè scent needs to be beastly
Great video Ash! Can’t really argue with any of these. 🤘
What about L'insoumis Ma Force!? It has the same quality?
Also, bvlgari blue por femme was ro die for and interesting sad its been discontinued
I’ve got to get my hands on dior homme… all I’ve heard is great things about that fragrance!
Even in Europe it's EXTREMELY difficult to find Dior Homme Parfum these days. It's been out of stock on the Dior website for over 4 months now. And the only alternative is ebay where you'll end up paying double for it. Other than that, you can't get in anywhere else....at all.
Never had so many scents featured that i own... Guess i'm ready to go into niche territory
Prepare yourself and your wallet....it's an expensive rabbit-hole if you're not careful! lol
I just ordered prada lhomme intense from ebay. From a legit seller. Hoping it comes soon! It is amazing!😊
How was it?
Great video with some great choices in there and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
Can you review
Black Steel by Victorinox
It's a swiss knife brand
Perfume is composed by
Daphné Bugey
Saw the review by Sebastian
Would like to know your opinion on the perfume
Romeo Gigli Uomo Edt is a timeless classic and Nieche quality too.
John Richmond black metal, I think it's super underrated and you need to check it out, the performance, the smell, the uniqueness, it checks all the boxes
As a metalhead, I'm already intrigued by the name! :D
Nothing can beat Narciso Rodriguez for Him
I'm kinda surprised that in my humble collection I already got 2 sought after discontinued fragrances... And I start to like Noir Ambre by Issey Miyake
That's awesome, which "2" are you referring to?
@@Schatje79 Narcisio Rodriguez for him :) which is The Only perfume I bought after being discontinued, although I got a pretty nice offer for it :)
@@Powhart Nice, is it the edt or edp?
@@Schatje79 its The edt :)
Where is the Sauvauge Parfum love. This is my sweetheart and the other flankers where just a one night stand. Ha
I like Jazz Club but I prefer By the Fireplace
I’d love to see a review of Air Company’s, Air edp
Tom ford ombré leather
Givenchy Gentleman Réserve Privée could be seen as a modern take on the Fahrenheit DNA
Interesting
I had Fahrenheit on at work today and most people under 40 had not ever heard of it. Can totally pull off niche, there's nothing else like it.
One that's no longer available that I loved is Muelhens Sumatra Rain EDT there was nothing else like it, closest I've found to it is Roberto Cavalli Paradise Found but, it only has hints of Sumatra Rain.
Bdc Parfum is niche quality to me
Bogart Pour Homme is a fantastic cheapie, worse sprayer than even the Amens, though. IM Noir Ambre & all the Chopard Malaki's are really high quality.
Fragrancebuy has Issey Noir Ambre in stock for like $94 if anyone is interested.
Just sold out 😔
@@DjGo99 i think they just restock
Issey noir ambre
fragrancenet $75.
Fragrancebuy (canada) $94.

BOOSTER
ENGAGED!!!
😎👃
I always thought chopard was more closely related to niche since they make jewelry but they're fragrances bang idc about jewelry
If more people had access to luminous night it would have made it
I just got it at Cyprus airport. It is freaking amazing.
I like by the fire place more than jazz club, am I the only one?
Do the other way around, niche fragrances that are designer quality, but not bad tho, rather too mass appealing, simple etc
Dior Eau Sauvage EDP
Wednesday, I wore Stronger With You Intensely. At physical therapy, someone thought they were smelling onions 😅 but then I visited my mom and got an unsolicited comment. Maybe mom really likes onions 😂🤣
One of the most horrible fragrance lines ever for me. :( Sorry nothin personal tho 😁
Have you heard of yodeyma clones???? And if not would you make a video on it??
Anyone else luck out by finding Noir Ambre on FN when this video dropped? 👀
What is "niche" really? Unique/not necessarily mass-appealing? high quality? Unreasonably expensive? Should they meet all that criteria? Cause if yes, then "niche" perfumes like Aventus ain't niche at all.
Who or what determines what is niche or not? Price or exclusivity?
Strickly speaking, niche brands focus only on the production of fragrances so they tend to be higher quality and more expensive while designer brands make clothes and other fashion accessories. So for example, Creed, PDM and Nishane only make fragrances and are considered niche brands. While brands such as Tom Ford and Dior may produce very high quality fragrances that are 'niche level' but because they produce other designer items, they're not technically niche. However in reality some designer fragrances are better quality then their niche counterparts.
What about indie scents that are niche quality?
Day 24 of asking Ash to start a petition to get a winter flanker of Acqua Di Gio put into production.
Bogart pour Homme really doesn’t smell high quality to me.
100% agree with Moustache EDP. It’s a fragrance I’m really happy to have in my collection.
🤣 the face in the thumbnail, outrageous.
Does anyone know where I can find Creed Royal Oud ?? I’ve looked and can’t find it anywhere
Same here. Only thing I've found recently is fragrancenet selling an 8ml decant for like $56
@@ericquijije7674 Man you used to be able to get a decent off Maxaroma for like $30
I really though Fendi had very interesting compositions. I'm sad they stopped making perfumes
Rochas l'homme aromatic smells a lot like l'insoumis.
No offense intended but I honestly don't get the hype around the stronger with you line, am I the only one who smells invictus in it?
I don't understand the hype either. I find them to be low quality & revolting
@@MuddyGreenMonster it was so hyped that I blind bought it, instant regret at first sniff
azzaro wanted line is >>>>
@@araza786 azzaro wanted line is great for the younger crowd & school boys.
@@MuddyGreenMonster im 29
Suits me great. Most wanted parfum is maybe more balanced/mature and l intense edp has depth for dates.
Sounds like youre maybe 40+ in which case it would harder to pull off
I have smelled a bunch of fragrances but the only one that choked me out and gave me a headache is Bogart Pour Homme! Hate that one lol
Do you work in radio?
Your voice.
You should
DEFINITELY GOAT
Dear Ash, love your videos! But er, how to say this nicely? There is no such word in the English language as “agreeance”; it’s “agreement”. There, I said it! Keep the videos coming-I have introduced my Year 9 boys to your channel. Every morning we do sniff tests. Sounds weird I know, but it’s fun.
Agreeance is a word that seems to be continually reinvented and recycled. The term first appeared in the 16th century and enjoyed its greatest popularity in the 18th and early to mid-19th centuries. Since then it has fallen into disuse.
Day 68 of asking Ash to review Milton Lloyd fragrances
Hi
Top 10 fragrances to wear getting mugged?
F1 fragrances what?!
To be honest Dior Homme Intense is still very designer-yyy, not niche enough
Friendoids
so many fragrances in this planet are overrated
Top 👍🙏
You should do the opposite in the future. Niche fragrances that are designer quality.
Encre Noire is definitely not pronounced "on-cray" noire. 💀 This has been going on too long, I think he's messing with people.
Versace Man is better than Oud Noir
Modern Dior Fahrenheit is not worth the money (may father just bought latest batch). Projection and lasting comparable to avarage CK edt fragrance. Also the smell itself is not that complex and interesting it used to be. What a loss 📉😔
a 16 min video that could really have been just 6-7 mins. I'm out.
Oh no!!! He’s only got 302,000 subscribers! What’s he gonna do without 302,001?
@@mikewood4960 🤣🤣🤣
Your noir ambre looks full... WHY!?!
