    I hope people heed the warnings...when Hurricanes come marching in...Prepare, and if need to evacuate please do so...

    We’ll never make that mistake again. We’ll definitely evacuate. No amount of preparation can prepare for a storm of that magnitude though. Just get your family and get out. Homes and possessions can be replaced. God bless all those who lost loved ones.

      I was on marco Island when Charley passed by. I swore I'd leave after that cruise by. I live on the beach on the treasure coast now and I always evacuate. It's not worth the hell in my opinion. I'm fortunate. I can afford a hotel etc. Even if one can't, get to the shelter.

      Liar. We Floridians love our Governor. People are just anxious to get rebuilt. It takes time. Everybody wants their property taken care of ASAP. Thousands of Insurance claims, waiting for supplies…Patience is what is needed.
