    I got my Lexapro but am afraid to take them because of the side effects?

    • @thejackieevans
      @thejackieevans  9 месяцев назад

      I totally get that! And the first several weeks (especially if it’s the first time taking one of these meds) can be really tough so be super kind and gentle with yourself 💖💖 and remind yourself why you are taking these in the first place and if those reasons outweigh the side effects. Good luck! Sending you lots of love!

      It should be called Nosexapro because theres a risk of being chemically castrated by SSRI meds

    • @thejackieevans
      @thejackieevans  8 месяцев назад +1

      I think it took me a couple months to feel a LOT better! I have not tried coming off yet - but I know tapering down slowly is SUPER important

  • @Polecat-qz5om
    @Polecat-qz5om 5 месяцев назад +1

    How hard was it to taper off?

    • @thejackieevans
      @thejackieevans  5 месяцев назад +1

      oh man. It was rough. The first couple days I lowered by dose I felt totally fine. Then day 4 and 5 were AWFUL! My brain felt like it was being stung by a bunch of bees. Im on day 15 now and my brain doesnt hurt, but feeling suuuuuper emotional. I can tell its getting better, but its probably going to take awhile. How about you??
