tbf i usually do the exact same thing because i enjoy to be somewhat challenged playing games, however b4bs diff in difficultys is laughably insane, im terriefied of nightmares final 2 missions having just beat the full recruit run, those last two are damn tough, or at least they are for melee builds

Hey Mark, I was admitted in the hospital since for about a week now diagnosed with lung infection. My oxygen levels were critically low and I’ve been surviving on an oxygen tank ever since. It has been a rough couple days, but every time you upload a new video I just watch it and smile and laugh and feel joy again and forget about the state in which I’m in. And for that I just want to thank you, thank you for being such a bundle of joy to me and I’m sure millions of people around the world. Keep doing what you’re doing

Fun Fact: The sign for watching your step on the ladder is a nod to a bug in the beta for this game. In the beta if you tried to climb down the ladder (or up the ladder, for that matter), there was a chance you would instantly die. As in, no downed state, just straight up dead.

they've always been like that. Mark especially lmao
A couple of things to note if you decide to play this game again:
- if you stay in an area for too long, they send more specials to try to get you to move.
- the order of your cards matters (if you’re going to play through a long run) so when you make a deck, put them in the order you want to pick them.
- the ogre tunnels at half health. So you just have to get it to half health in the start and then you’re good to keep moving on.
- and yeah, my friends and I found the jumps between difficulties so insane. The jump from recruit to veteran is insane because it’s like a triple whammy - the ridden to more damage AND you can do team damage AND there and more ridden/specials

Okay you know what’s annoying though? Joining a game and all the people in the party want to to a party call and you find out all of them are like middle aged men and you’re a 15 year old girl and you keep trying to tell them you don’t want to unmute cause you’re uncomfortable and eventually shoot a special to get the game over with. It’s fun to know what does what to get out of uncomfy situations.

This game is comedically difficult at times, like sometimes it reminds me of darkest dungeon where you are just fated to lose and there is almost nothing you can do about it.

I never understood how in L4D and now B4B, the characters can shoot guns all they want but a car alarm and crows are what alerts the horde
Somewhere it was described that the zombies are only alerted by high pitched noises like car alarms, crows, heavy machinery etc but gunshots are low pitched so they aren't bothered by them

I love watching them play FPS games. They’re silly morons (I mean that lovingly) but they ARE actually good at games. You forget that when they flail their way through a survival crafting game, but then they team up in a FPS and it’s impressive!

this is one of the best playthroughs for veteran tbh. not many I've seen where they finish most of it so flawlessly without jumping to easy

When my friends and I were playing the first server test round of this, we were told to *run past the big boi* and it always worked. there's safer spots up ahead where he can't follow. Sadly, it's not in mark's nature to run ahead and ignore the big scary thing :P
This is my favorite game by far in the last two years. I kept wanting to scream, "MOVE FASTER! More zombies will appear if you don't get moving!" Which is why they kept dying in the second level. And, with all the updates in the last year, the game has gotten EVEN better. You can now start your game with a full deck, two new DLCs, a new underground mode you can access at any level, at least 3 new characters with new special traits, lots of cooler brand new cards to add to your multiple decks, and, of course, new weapons skins and a constantly evolving array of seasonal character clothing. Karlee will always be my #1 character - she and I are ride or die.

@@silverraxtus9622 Well he used the shotgun until it ran out of bullets (like only 10 shells) and then pretty much just did the dodge-stab mechanic thing they have in that game until Nemesis died. Its his RE4 series if you want to watch it :D
