  • July marked an exciting milestone as we handed over the keys to the first group of local residents moving into our sustainable homes. These homes represent a significant step towards affordable and eco-friendly living. The remaining homes will be allocated next week, ensuring that everyone moving in has a strong connection to Hook Norton or the surrounding villages.
Rachel, who runs the village art group, was one of the first to get her keys today. Rachel returned to Hook Norton seven years ago after being made redundant. Since then, she has been living with her parents, struggling to find affordable rental options in the village, where a one-bedroom flat can cost around £1,000 a month.
As we welcome Rachel, Helen, Francesca, and other residents, we look forward to seeing them thrive in their new, eco-friendly homes. Stay tuned for more updates and stories from our new community members as they settle into their sustainable living spaces.
