  • Many stars in New York and Los Angeles spoke to "Extra" about the Manchester terrorist attack, which killed at least 22 concertgoers, injuring 59.
    At the “DWTS” semi-finals last night, Fifth Harmony star Normani Kordel, who performed at that very arena just last year, told "Extra's" Renee Bargh, “It's pretty tragic you know, especially, because these are things we can never really prepare for. I was in the makeup chair getting ready about to walk on and I saw it on my timeline and it's just very unfortunate and it's very sad... I'm praying for the people that were affected and also their families.”

    Am I the only one here who is willing to defend these celebrities? If anyone was being an ass, it was the reporter. Zac and Priyanka probably had a million things going through their minds at their premiere and the guy just sprung it on them. Obviously it's a sad and terrible thing that happened, but it is not at all appropriate to catch them off guard like that with such horrible news, especially when they had no idea it happened since they were probably busy doing press all day and didn't have time to catch up with the news. I thought they both handled themselves pretty well and I feel bad they were put on the spot like that. If anyone is to blame for being insensitive, it's the reporter for asking them about how they felt about the incident when they had absolutely no opportunity to process or understand the tragedy.

      exactly. also it was really gross for them to even bring up the manchester bombing as if getting reactions from celebrities about the tragedy is some form of entertainment they could post later on youtube. like the bombing JUST happened, and it seems like they're more concerned with the celebrities' reactions than the tragedy itself.

    this is actually really gross like the bombing just happened and they're already trying to get celebrities to react to it as a form of entertainment? like what do you get out of telling them about the bombing? they would have found out eventually. but the fact that they're telling them JUST when it happened shows that they were trying to get a genuine reaction from them so they could post this content on youtube. it feels like they're valuing their reactions more than the actual tragedy itself. also, it must be uncomfortable for some celebrities bc they just found out and their initial reaction of shock doesn't display the amount of sadness they feel when they the situation sinks in later on.

    Tbh this shouldn't be discussed on social media or any interviews. This should be Prayed For. As in, put your phones down and actually PRAY. The victims and their families don't need hashtags, tweets, photos or anything. They need PRAYER at this time we all need PRAYER. As if tweets would reach up into heaven. No they won't. and tbh it's not a question you need answered, seriously.

    for everyone saying "who cares about what these people think", blaming Ariana,& blaming certain religions.
    you guys need to understand that this is not Ariana's fault or islams fault. this was a suicide bomb. a religion has nothing to do with a suicide bomb. & how could this be ari's fault? ariana is not the cause for this bomb & did not know that this was going to happen. imagine how everyone feels. there were parents waiting for their children to run to them so they could leave, to later find out that their children were dead. imagine how ari feels. to have seen her own fans die in front of her. we really need to blame the security. someones grandmother had gone to that arena a few days before the incident and said that the security just look you up and down, and only look in your bag if you have a big bag. also, do not hate on these celebrities. they are actually praying for those who went to the concert. the same day about 4 other tragedies happened. isis took over a country. #prayfortheworld

    • @haydenharris846
      @haydenharris846 7 лет назад +1

      I agree with you on it not being Ariana's fault but you are completely off-base and just incorrect in saying religion has nothing to do with this. The Islamic state and ISIS took credit for the bombing and terrorized, injured, and killed those innocent people in the name of Islam. They hate Western culture and are hell-bent on destroying western civilization because it does not align with their beliefs. They take the Quran literally and feel it is their place to destroy "infidels" that don't believe the same things they do. Obviously not all Muslims are bad, but when a terrorist organization like ISIS murders people in the name of Islam, you cannot say religion is not relevant because it absolutely is. It is not irrational to be Islamophobic right now in this day and age if you are American or European because the radicals hate us and want us dead. That's why we need stronger vetting procedures in place to make sure the Muslims we are letting into this country are good and aren't representing ISIS.

    • @haydenharris846
      @haydenharris846 7 лет назад

      اللهم ارزقنا بالجنة I'm not saying Islam is bad, I think the radicals have distorted it into something most Muslims probably do not believe. But you cannot sit here and tell me these terrorist attacks have nothing to do with religion. That's just very uneducated and naive to say. Like I said, obviously the majority of Muslims are not bad but the radicals are killing people IN THE NAME OF ISLAM! And most of their victims are actually other Muslims so the radicalization of Islam is something we ALL need to be worried about, not just Christians

      اللهم ارزقنا بالجنة well they are calling themselves Muslims and the Islamic state took responsibility for the attack. So what are we supposed to think? I know you mean well but these people are using your religion to justify killing innocent people. I know you most definitely do not agree with them but you have to acknowledge the fact that there are bad Muslims out there. And obviously there are bad people of all faiths, but right now radical Muslims are the only ones committing acts of terror and waging a war against the west
