Correct me if i'm wrong.. Orthion's ability creating 5 copies of terror - but only the original terror effect will trigger right? Since the 5 tokens come in at the same time (not one by one so they dont see each other).
Total 5x5 = 25dmg not 125 dmg
They all see each other entering the battlefield 😁
Basically, what will happen is the original will see 5 enter and deal a total of 25 damage.
Each token entering will only see the ithers entering and deal 20 damage each. 5X.
So in total, that would 125 damage. More then enough to close out the average commander game.
I want him, but not as the Commander. I want him in the 99 for Jetmir because that way, I don't catch as much targeted heat from the table

Just make a token copy of what you want to make another token of then. Lots of red stuff do that. Jaxis, the Troublemaker, Flamerush Rider, Mirror March, etc.
Equip it with a thornbite staff, use phyrexian altar for infinite mana, all you need to do is make a token of anything, or just use altar of dementia to mill everyone out
Yeah but if you don't have one of the eight cards that create the token. Ghired doesn't do anything.
I love your videos and content you are creating but this deck doesn't seem really good to me. Maybe because my playgroup plays lots and lots of removal.

Red and green can make tokens like rabbits can make babies, green can also populate in several different ways, and white has spells that can protect your board from almost anything, and I think red has a counter spell for blue spells, and there’s also a ton of cards that can reduce the cost of every color that this card is

It’s not broken, it’s just a Kiki combo with extra steps. Might as well just tutor splinter twin or Kiki. This just turns a two card combo into a three card combo.

This card is definitely strong, but I would not say its broken by any means. I feel like the term “infinite with (insert random thing here)” is used way too often. First you need a creature that untaps another creature, then you need to make a token copy of it when, then you need Ghired. I don’t remember when 3 card, conditional, moderate mana cost combos were ever considered broken. Especially when two of the best cards in the deck go infinite way easier than Ghired does (kiki, splinter twin). I feel like every magic youtuber says a commander is broken the moment anything goes infinite with it.
Honestly, without going infinite, the card is totally average. Only nontoken creatures can tap, so you dont get massive exponential growth. All of the “broken” interactions occur with MINIMUM 3 cards and typically 9 or more total mana amongst those cards. Ghired doesnt lend himself to very efficient low-cost interactions or card draw enabling, especially if youre also trying to pack in enough strong creatures to copy, ways to copy, and mana ramp to actually play all these cards. Specific example, you get ghired out, terror of the peaks, and you copy terror with twinflame or something. Thats 10 mana and you get two terror of the peaks. In casual commander, sure this is super fun, but in any pod where people optimize their deck in ANY fashion, 10 mana would win the game on the spot.
