Seriously, in a pinch it'll punch a 1/2" or even bigger hold in block!?! Never would have thought that a few years ago. I always had a slight dislike for the ergonomics of the second gen Milwaukee, the minimal changes they made to this third gen makes a HUGE difference in how it feels in hand, i'm REALLY happy with current gen hammer drill and impact.

The new one is louder…I have both, the torque is different but I will keep the 2504
I feel the 2504 was a tick faster at drilling and a bit quieter than the 3504>? both did good

What year did each of these come out?
The newer model came out very early 2023, the previous model, I don't know for sure, but I believe it was 2020.
Was that fresh (newly made) concrete? Or old?
It was a pre made block I bought somewhere.
Concrete is not uniform. There is aggregate mixed with cement therefore you will run into rocks (aggregate) sometimes more and sometimes less. This will change the time it takes to drill a hole and will be inconsistent. If you pore a block with cement and no rocks it will be a better comparison.
