Angela is a real blessing, her absolute passion for guitar, teaching, humor.. Been following her for years. Wish you would come to Chicago someday Angela, would be great to see you live !
I've been using RUclips tutorials for months now and this is the first one that actually goes at a pace and thoroughness where I can follow and play along without the pause or rewind every 5 seconds. Amazing tutorial, thankyou
Thanks for the kind words, Richard! Much success to you on your journey!
I love how you slow it down so everyone can learn and play it perfectly! Thanks for that 👍
Hi Angela, I just started following your tutorials recently. You are truly a gifted musician and teacher, your teaching style is captivating and easy to understand. Thanks for helping your followers like me reignite the passion for learning!! My missed concert was in the 70’s, Led Zeppelin tour that was abruptly halted due to Plant’s tragic loss of his son Karac.
Just discovered your channel this afternoon. You’re helping out a fella who’s been playing the guitar for 30 years! Thanks for the videos. Subscribed!
You know what, you are born to teach people these beautiful stuff❤️Hi from Croatia
Hi Angela, love your tutorials. Hi from New Zealand. You lessons make the songs so approachable to learn and I find myself being able to play songs I thought were above my ability.
Thank you for the kind words, Phil. Much success to you!
Brilliant lesson Angela, you are a fantastic teacher, Mary from Limerick, Ireland 🇮🇪 loved this lesson!
Wow! thx Angela, for someone with so much talent to do such detailed lessons shows true character.
Had to give up my center floor tickets to a "The Cult" concert back in the 80's.
Greetings from Canada🇨🇦
I had the chance to go see Pink Floyd performing The Wall at Earls Court, London in 80/81 and I turned it down. It's now my favourite album of all time.
Just found this chick on RUclips, unbelievable and so impressed!
Cool..Thank you sweet Angela !
Oh yeah!... I like how you explain everything in a peaceful mood, all motivated 😊 thanks
Absolutely amazing Tennessee Whiskey lesson thank you so much.
And thanks too for this lesson.
Your kindness and love of guitar is clear and an inspiration. 🎸🤠
Booked 6 tickets for my family to see Devo in NYC with special Heineken reserved to the stage. Website said that the doors opened at 6, concert at 8…firgutred that 9pm for DEvo after the opening act at 8….how wrong I was….so when we arrrived at 9pm , Devo was at the end of their show…we saw 4 songs….max…..I was in shock turns out the tickets said that the concert started at 7. Creed (from the Office ) opened with 4 songs and the Devo show started at 745….So while I was there…I really missed it. i had been lookin forward to this show all year…DOH!
Best teacher ever, teaching skills are awesome!
Woodstock...1st one.
Ran away from home (Wisconsin) to see concert.😎👍
It called to me.😎👍
But...Got busted in Zanesville, Ohio for hitchhiking. 🙁
Parents were called (I was underaged) and father drove all the way to get me...
It was a quiet ride home🤣

This is my favorite story so far!!!!! Thank you for sharing this, Richard! Too funny!

Missed Woodstock and gave tickets to a friend who also missed it. Sorry, I missed you today I had computer problems. Watching you here. Interesting chords.
As a side note: I would like to learn one of the songs you wrote.
Just Saw Lark & Poe with Willie Nelson & Family , Billy Strings and Jason Isabel. In Georgia. How do you know life is good? When your sharing air with Willie, Micha and Lukas on a warm GA night.
Toronto Canada 🍁
Gave away stones tickets back in the 90s
Love and blessings from Kruger Park in South Africa. Living so far from the city it's difficult to actually go to a show but I did miss a show by One Direction a few years back....
as always great lesson... my hero... she's extraordinary! ;)
Angela, thank you so very much for sharing such a cool song. Your approach to teaching is so generous. Hope I'm not being greedy by making this request, but can you please do a run through in the lessons with a vocal track? This song in particular, is giving me a heck of a time trying to sync up the guitar and words. One pass with vocal reference would help tremendously.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
💖👼🙏
Grateful Dead at MSG 1993. I had one ticket because I liked going alone to see the Grateful Dead sometimes. I worked in lower Manhattan, had a long hard day and was coming down with a cold. When I got to MSG located above the Long Island Rail Road (which would take me home after the show) I was suddenly tempted to go home and rest. When I saw all the Dead Heads holding one finger up, which is Dead Head code for "I Need a Miracle" (free ticket). I gave it to some lucky girl for free who thought the ticket was fake. I'm a diehard Dead Head and figured I would just go to the next show, which I did. Two years later when Jerry Garcia died, I never forgot that missed opportunity that would have added to all the memories over the years. I would kill to turn back the clock an see Garcia one more time. On the other hand. I gave that opportunity to someone less fortunate than me who now has that day in her memory. I know she will never forget my generosity or that Grateful Dead show 2 years shy of the end of the Dead's 30 year run with J. Garcia.
Love your videos. Excellent.
I had tickets to see Slayer on their farewell tour. The day of the concert my son who was in high school at the time had a friend commit suicide that morning. I of course opted to stay home with him.
How often and when do you do your live teachings? I am really am glad I have found your channel.
I do a live lesson on youtube every Saturday at 12p PST.
Deadly 🎉!! Thanks
My favorite version of this song is when Dave does it himself on the Howard Stern show.

Hi Angela , love your work and especially your attitude 👍 . Any chance you could maybe show us how you would play “ They call me the breeze” by the great JJ Cale ..... pretty please ! 💗
For the Octave notes I like to not use a pick and use my thumb for that Wes Montgomery effect😜
Damn I missed the live lesson again. Guess I'll do the replay thing again.
Had Metallica/Queensryche tickets at Nassau collisium back in 91 or so ( my only concert I would've been to til this day) but my boss wouldn't let me go so I gave the Tix to my nephew and I believe he scalped em for dope. Now I would love to see food fighters. Maybe Silver hair too and Metric
Also on the octave G# the open low E with it sounds good2
Excuse the typos
The Howard Stern version is pretty epic as well
